I'll give y'all a tip put a eye hook on the plunger then y'all can hook it to hold the plunger down in place. It make it more convenient and easier time to tie the Bale.

Must be satisfying. Amazing how much compresses into a bail.

Drill a hole in the plunger to insert a locking dowel for tying twine
