When I used to say things like 'if i'd not knocked the pole down etc. My boss would say 'If the the dog hadn't stopped for a shit he'd have caught the rabbit'!!!! lol always cheered me up.... not hahaha!! Well done on the whole day Meg. 👌x

@@horselover415 Very hot in the region I'm at at the moment, as we go into our third heat wave of Spring, and Summer hasn't even started yet!! The 2 horses I'm working with right now get light work in the early mornings and later evenings. Other than that, their legs are wrapped in polos, as both are just coming off injury. They get turned out after I've worked them for 2 hours. Then they stay in the barn with hay at all times, automatic waterers, and fly spray and fly sheets on. Out for a couple hours in the evening, and then same routine. I do ice their legs after every 20 minutes of light work. Stay Safe and Have a Great Week!

@@jenniferlehman2464 wow that's really cool here it isn't too hot it's only about 20 something each day but on some days it goes up to 30 so its pretty hot to ride but we ride in the mornings and evenings so its better

Well done you two!!!! Very successful veeekend with Jam & DeeDee. I like Hobbit's off the cuff comments. Especially considering the Mother/Daughter relationship. My daughter and I did horses together also. Thank you Hobbit for the filming and getting quite a bit of the XC. Stay safe. 💙🐎😎

Loved the vlog, the banter between you and Hobbit and Dee - I just adore that mare! Such a character! And I wouldn't be surprised if she loses some of her sass now that you're back eventing. From what you mentioned before about her being too smart (and possibly opiniated) for her own good, I thought she might have been slightly bored in lockdown. Aas almost all of us since there's only so much you can do...in...well...lockdown. ;)

Love the even vlog Meg! Shame about the show jumping but the dressage and cross country were mega, I also thought the cross county course was lovely! I make videos too and once I get to 100 subs I’ll be doing show vlogs!
