Loved this vlog Hannah. It brings back memories of my darling dad. I was born in the early 60s and my dad loved aviation and flight! We as a family would drive to Exeter Airport on a Sunday afternoon to watch the planes take off and land. Occasionally we would go inside the airport for something to eat and a browse of the duty free shops. They were very special times... back then Airports were definitely more relaxed.

My sister and her fiancée are pilots for BA and have both said that the airport lounge does let down the experience, when I used it I enjoyed it but did find it extremely busy and a bit chaotic. Love all your videos and looking forward to see what 2023 brings. Happy new year keep safe and well.

Hannah you definitely should do more travel vlogs, You're pretty dammed good at them :) As an aviation enthusiast I can never understand people going into lounges and ignoring the planes out the window and even worse lounges that don't have windows. LHR is hands down my favorite airport! It is truly the only airport I look forward to arriving too early. I love it when the duty free staff tell you of the great deals. The last time I was there they let me know of a mascara deal they were having and I bought three tubes for half the price I normally pay. Gordon Ramsey’s had a tasty and fairly priced lunch as well. Thanks for reminding me how fun it is there!

As a pilot who adores fashion, I never have the time to peruse these shops whilst working. So this vlog is great, love it! Funny that you work in fashion, as I dream of working in fashion in a parallel life. Much prefer the hustle and bustle of the terminal atmosphere rather than an awkward lounge for sure. I’d store dried spaghetti in those Fortnum tins! Never use a full pack and have to attempt to put a food clip on the opened packet. Love travel vlogs too and getting excited with everyone on their travel day.

Airport and aviation geek here too Hannah. One of my biggest regrets it’s not taking an opportunity to train as a pilot for Air2000 ( I think your too young to remember them!). I don’t think duty free are cheaper anymore. Thanks for a great vlog, hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I hope 2023 brings good health, prosperity and love.

🤩 Absolutely loved this video, thank you for taking the time to film it all! I love Heathrow so much, and the shopping can be fabulous there! Longchamp is VERY popular these days, I have several of the nylon totes and they are great for travel. I actually purchased one of my favorite Longchamp totes at Heathrow a few years ago and it was a bargain there! LOL I'd love to see more airport/travel vlogs, they're some of my favorites!

Watching your videos in random order because of the RU-vid algo and it's so fun to see your reaction while leaving the store right after you try on the Chanel flats you have been wanting for so long with almost childlike disappointment with all of us viewers knowing you will eventually get them a few months later. Great vlog Hannah especially as I used to work in T5 in the duty free for a cosmetic brand so it was lovely having a look around and seeing my old work place again. I admit it was more fun when I first started the job in the 90’s and I think I left at the right time. I didn’t ever get to see the lounges as staff weren’t allowed in so nice to have a look around. Brilliant vlog Hannah. I love the lounges. I used to fly around the world for work in biz class. The best BA lounge there in T5 is the one to the right when you go through security. You can book a free massage, and they have Elemis showers! If you want champagne, you have to ask them. Can't wait for your next vlog!

I love watching airplanes. My grandfather started taking us to a local airport in New York as children. Back then you could get up pretty close and personal with the planes. I watch videos and sometimes if I am near an airport and have time, I will park in their observation areas and watch the planes go in and out. My husband thinks I am crazy. He hates to fly and I love it! I also had many family members who worked the airlines years ago. Love this vlog!

Less busy, less security mania, no 100 ml bottle crap, didn’t feel like cattle, real knives& forks , off course no Covid , flight cancellations with hundreds of people not knowing what to do, staff nicer& not do stressed. I’m glad I did all my travelling across the globe when I did, would not like to be doing it now… just my opinion

The airplane meals and other amenities were far nicer back then and they were included in the price of a domestic ticket. Free flowing multi course meals and beverages on domestic flights. Everything was included and didn't seem to require so much extra expense. No extra fees for luggage. No fees for movie earphones in coach. Blankets and pillows were free in coach. Porters were everywhere to assist. Upgrades to first class were very easy to get for free. Generous vouchers were given frequently for minor inconveniences. TSA was fast and easy.

Love Terminal 5! Usually try to get there early to shop, I’d be going home so that’s when I grab stuff! As a former flight attendant, I enjoyed your travelvlog very much. We flew Virgin Atlantic and it's First Class or " Premiere Class" a few years back, and we were quite disappointed actually. Their pre departure lounge reminded me of the restaurant/lounge you were in. way too big and cold. I hope you are enjoying your time with your friend and I can't wait for 2023 and your new videos! I had a layover at Heathrow in late November, it was very crowded and took me a long time to find a seat and had a full English breakfast at one restaurant. I only bought Afternoon Blend loose tea from Fortnum and Mason but did not get a chance to shop more. Really appreciate you show me Fortnum and Mason and Harrods in Heathrow again. Yes, it is sad, no more duty free shops anymore.

Another great vlog 😊 Heathrow T5 is the one we always seem to fly from these days and we’ve been to lounge you went to recently. It was so crowded we had to wait 10 minutes to find seats! It’s certainly not the best one I’ve been to but I did like the cucumber water and the selection of alcoholic drinks was good. Like you I also enjoy RU-vid flight review videos

Hi Hannah, if you fly out of T5 again visit the South Lounge (above the First class lounge at the other end of the building) or the T5B lounge (if you flight is departing from there much bigger lounges and less busy - and the view are just as good if not better. The North lounge is always crazy busy.

I enjoyed it Hannah! I wanted to be an Air Stewardess when I was young but I wasn't tall enough. Haven't been to Heathrow for ages so great to see it again. I live in Australia and came to the UK in June whilst I was there I visited Fortnum and Mason and bought one of the last Jubilee bags. During your video you said how lovely the staff were and you were right they were so nice. I used to work in retail in the UK before I migrated and I can’t ever remember being as nice to my customers. I do try to be super nice to my customers now and its so much more fun with the feedback I get from them. 🎉❤
