Thanks for everything but love the engine bay tutorial. Definitely something I overlook. My brother is a mechanic and says he loves getting cars whose engine bays are detailed. He says it shows that the owner takes care of their car.

I hope next time he actually shows if he takes any measures in protecting the alternator, starter motor and other electrical equipment that might get damaged by the water and degreaser (like the air sensor and such). Also not a big fan of pressure washing, as I've spoken to many certified detailers that were against such harsh approach. Although I do like that he does the underside, he might be the only one I've ever seen doing that.

I'm from Indiana originally and I can tell you that yes, once a week is the absolute best thing you could ever do. I had an 01 ranger that I took the bed off to change a fuel pump and even working in detailing, regular cleaning, I had a pile of rust under the bed. I did clean it up and fixed and dressed the rust since I had the opportunity, but my vehicle otherwise was perfect. I can tell this guy is a great detailer. The small things I see him do is great. Keep up the great work from a fellow detailer!!

Love these detailing videos, I've been driving over 30 years, and I've learned so much about cleaning cars from just watching these videos! It's definitely worth, spending some cash on quality cleaning and detailing products to get the best out of your vehicle. I spent 4 hours cleaning my car yesterday, it's nothing like that condition of these vehicles!

I love it when you do the engine bay. Rarely happens, but always worth looking forward to. Btw, I can't provide proof of testing or anything, but carpeted wheel wells don't specifically provide noise dampening - they provide vibration dampening which has a positive effect of reducing noise in the cab. What this means is that in the long run the reduction of vibrations allows longevity of devices and components - ranging from light bulb longevity to motor mount and hoses longevity. It's probably something small like 3% if I had to guess, but in a luxury vehicle you might as well add it, imo.

I use warm water to power wash carpet wheel wells on my Silverado and it definitely helps release the dirt from the carpet easier. I spend about 1/2 the time on them now.

Quick word of advice for aspiring detailer as well as maybe even detail geek! If you have an air compressor, I highly recommend picking up a "tornado". It's an enzyme cleaner that is basically an air hose that blows the enzymes at a rapid pace in a circular motion. It's good for getting out tough dog hairs that won't come out with your lily brush, as well as breaking down salt stains in the blink of an eye! Love the content! Keep it up!

Don’t have a heated garage so I have to wait for the spring here in northern Michigan to detail the interior of my Chrysler 200! I like how you remove the license plate from the cars that you detail. It serves as a dual purpose, 1) hides the Identity of the owner, 2) allows you to clean that area under the plate... I have that same car. Its been a great car and It has over 230000 miles on it and still running great as my daily. I wish they still made them. I got a baby on the way and thinking about getting the Dodge Durango hopefully it will be just as reliable as my Chrysler 200

Husky Floor mats are a definite must . I live in Michigan and have them in my 300C. They definitely have saved my mats and carpet. A good investment. Plus I love 303. I've been using it for almost 20 years. Won't use anything else.

Question: have you every had an issue with a customer that believed that an item was genuinely in their car after you remove and sort their personal items, even when it was never there? If so, do you make your customers sign some sort of agreement which states that you have no responsibility for the items in their car, or make them remove their items from the car?

He will throw away trash like food bags and empty cups, but any spare change or personal belongings like from an early video, a customer had a bralette in the car that he just kept to the side.
