AMEN!!! When you said WE DON’T HAVE TO TELL YOU CERTAIN THINGS! That is so true. RU-vid doesn’t mean you share EVERYTHING! I’m glad you said that. Glad things have turned around for you ❤❤❤

The lady who got me started in prepping was the wife of a real estate broker in Las Vegas when the 08 crash happened. She told about living on her food storage for over a year as they did everything they could to keep their home, which they did. It was an impressive tale, as is yours. This can happen to anyone without warning and should motivate everyone to get busy.

I respect you more because of how you handled this. People need to learn others have private lives. Just because someone shares part of their lives on social media, doesn't mean they have to share everything. Much respect glad things worked out. I've said for the last 20 years that I've been prepping that this is the best life insurance there is. It brings peace of mind. I've been disabled for the last 10 years but I'm in the UK so we have a pretty good safety net here government money wise. I still prep, my kitchen is still full of food as is my extended pantry. I'm ready for what ever comes my way.

Jessica, you are so strong now! You have come so far. You are such a blessing to so many! You and Aaron prepared your pantry, and it paid off. You both should be so proud. This years preparation will be even more of a blessing to you because you know how it kept you going these last 6 months. I pray your youtube channel grows so big that Aaron can maybe stay home. You two make a great team. God bless, and I am so happy things are looking stronger for the near future, financially.

When I make powdered sugar I put 1/4 to 1/3 cup of cornstarch to my blender of sugar then pulverize it and I’m very satisfied with this technique. I commend you two for carrying on in front of the camera like nothing major had changed in your lives while I’m sure had to be a very difficult, emotional and scary time! Most of us have hit difficult times and most of us don’t want to share that with anyone, sometimes not even family but you guys have proven that being prepared to the best of your ability that all that preparation and working together and supporting each other really paid off so I’m here to say “you two are fantastic and I pray for brighter times and for you to be able to breath a little easier” thank you for being you! ♥️🙏🏻🇨🇦

I am extremely glad that Aaron now has another job after being laid off for so many months. And, your fantastic food storage really paid off during this time. You just never know what is going to happen as time goes buy living life day to day. I just pray more people would realize that and build up their pantries. You definitely did not have to tell any of us about the past 6 months; however, showing us how much it helped during this time should wake some people up. You, and Aaron, do a great job at adulting! 😀 Love your Mom, and Grandmother! Okay, love the tea in the half gallon jars. How many bags do you use in each one? This would be great since it is just me and I don't want stale tea! God bless you all! ❤

Hey Jessica!! I agree with the idea of not sharing every little bit of your life. Very few people know that I have been unemployed for over 5 years. Neighbors figured it out because they did not see me leaving in the early morning hours. 🤗My family and I have been frugal with out shopping habits. We have a basement pantry which has been our lifeline. We have found a food pantry when we need it and we have adjusted our diets accordingly. We have an elder person in house with very specific food likes and dislikes so we have to do the things that keep her happy and well fed. You and Aaron are doing a wonderful job and showing us how this is done as a united front, I love you and pray that all continues to go well with you and your household. Peace! 💖

Thank you for sharing your heart about your struggles in life. This past year my husband lost his job of 28years. It was devastating for him. He had planned to retire from it. Praise the Lord he was able to get another job fairly quickly but the pain of it is still raw and he is struggling. I can, for myself, say with confidence that the Lord truly helped us through this hard time and He is continuing to do so. He promises to take care of us and I know this to be true. Praise the Lord that Arron has found a job!!!! God is good!! May the Lord continue to guide you through.

The best thing all of us can do for one another is pray for each other while not knowing the details. God already knows and He has the answers. I am glad you had prepped for survival and things are getting better for you. Thank you for all your videos. Also, I admire your boundary of keeping some things private. That was one huge load off our plate. It was very easy for my husband to feed himself and our other kids. It was a cost we didn't have to make. You live your life to your best and to provide for your family. It doesn’t matter what the neighbours have or someone in another country. So long as your bills are paid, there food in the cupboard and some savings. That’s all you need to worry about. You never need to explain why you do what or buy what. It’s your business and yours alone. Glad your husband is back working and all the best to your future. Sending love from Australia

Bless your hearts! Y'all are amazing people. I am glad Aaron is back to work. I know how hard that is mentally for a man who has always been a hard worker to suddenly find himself without work. My husband's heath prevented him from working for a while and the mental toll was harder than the physical issues. I am praying for your sweet family, as usual. Congrats to Cody getting her own place and Wyatt being in the work force full time. All your babies are grown-ups now! Hugs from one Momma to another!

You handled yourself extremely well! I thought he was around more because of it being winter. 🙄 I know, I know!! 🥴 It was nice seeing him more often. You live what you say. Hopefully, people now understand the importance of being prepared for a life changing event. Blessings y'all 🙏🙏🙏

Jessica… I have been MIA myself for a while….. No need to “tell all”. You have certainly been thru a lot over thd last few years. I’m so impressed with your gardening! I guess those classes helped. I live in a much warmer climate and it’s hard to grow cold weather crops. I’m still trying. Stay strong!

So glad you were there for Aaron and for yourself. It's been so great him being in the videos so much. I had no idea. I just thought you filming on off days or vacation days. I hope he will continue to be in the videos. You've done an amazing job Jessica. I know you are proud by of yourself and you should be. This is a great lesson for so many. You will be going through alot with your sweet little grandma. It's hard but be patient and love love love. Watch things closely. lol. Been there done it wrote the book. I wouldn't change those times for anything. We all will be there one day. Live your family.

I’m glad you were able to get by with your beautiful pantry! I just got the greenhouse from Costco in February. Came with 100 pages of instructions. My dear husband did a great job! I love it ! Also I make my own ice tea also. Decaf tea a little bit of honey and a few fresh mint leaves 🍃! So delicious! Great video Jessica!

I definitely know what your going through. Our family has suffered job loss in the past year and have been unable to find jobs that pay the same still to this day. We’re still trying and looking but it can be difficult on your mental state as adults with children. It’s tough but thankfully you were prepared. 😊

This was really a great video. It gives us all so much hope that things can get better . My husband and I don’t have a ton of money . We have enough to make sure all our bills are paid and we have food for ourselves and our pets . I don’t even know that last time we went out for dinner but just knowing we are blessed with what we do have eases my mind so much. So thank you for this very humble video. It really touched my heart ❤

I just came across your channel and wow what a beautiful piece to share with us. My husband and I are from the Sunshine Coast, BC. We started following a lot of channels from Alaskan Area. We have fallen in love with the scenery but more importantly with the people who have shared their stories. Everyone who we subscribe has been so kind sharing the way they work the land, the truths about the challenges and so on. Thank you for sharing about your experience I’m sure you will help others through your experience. We’ve been through hard times as well but if you take the lesson and are prepared in the future as you mentioned it will be a lot less stressful than it could be. Cannot wait to go back and watch the other episodes. Will be sure to like and comment. Take care and many more blessings to come. Dee
