oooh I took this cruise last year and I had the same captain. Because I was by myself I ended up choosing to share tables every evening with people and apparently amongst cruisers this captain is known to be very funny. Fun vlog as always :D

Super excited for you (and a bit jealous haha). We live RIGHT by the Port of Tyne and although some ships leave from there I never understand why we have to travel to the bottom of the country to travel to countries North of us! It would be awesome if we could get a cruise to Norway from right here a 10-15 minute walk from our house. 'The not-so-hot tub' 😂
Right?!?! Why can’t big cruise ships sail from here it would be amazing we literally sailed past my hometown after travelling all the way to the bottom of the country lol 😂
How was the sea sickness?! I get motion sick easily as well so I'm very curious. I imagine you wouldn't feel it on such a big ship, but knowing me I'd be sick just with the knowledge that I'm moving. LOL!
I will admit I felt the ship moving this night and the next day but we were due choppy weather! So it was weird feeling however luckily I never got seasick and I do have pretty bad motion sickness! I didn’t even take my pills in the end although there was a moment I thought I would have to! 😂
I'm going on a cruise to celebrate my gastric bypass in December and then in March for my 1 year surgiversary I'm going to Australia. At thirteen weeks post op I have developed an ulcer but it was nothing like the one your husband had. The biggest problem so far is I keep getting dehydrated.

We did this cruise the week before you. We loved it. And the weather was stunning. Some of the pictures we got are amazing. We have booked 2 more now. We're hooked. We were surprised at how much food there is. It made me laugh when you went to the buffet at night. That's what we did lol. 😊
Ive been on this cruise it was great, hope you have gotten the cruise bug now ive been on 8. If your looking for another one I think you would enjoy a Tui Marella cruise the ships are older and smaller but its more of a happy easygoing vibe than p&o.

My Norway cruise was one of my all time favorites. Actually they all are favorites! This summer I am flying to Tokyo to visit Disney and then will take a Best of Japan cruise! Cruising is my favorite way to travel now!
@@catherinekayy it’s with Celebrity. It’s 12 days long. They seem to do this cruise multiple times each summer. One port is South Korea but the rest is Japan. I usually cruise with Holland America but they don’t go to Asia in the summer and I’m a teacher. It’s on the Millenium. I bought my ticket about 18 months ago. If you buy a cruise the week it’s first released you can usually get good deals!
