This is part 28 of Building a rat rod, chassis swapped, chopped and on air bags for under $3500 dollars! In this video i finish up the dash, get the doors opening and closing, install the hood and trunk and FINALLY make some sparks while tail dragging (they are tiny, but they are sparks lol)

I love it! Looks great and sounds amazing! I think you should name it “Sluggo” but spell it “Slug-go”, Looks like a slug when you drag the rear and it goes fast now that it has a turbo. Love the sparks! Maybe you can film a little dragging it at night.

I've enjoyed watching this build, it's an awesome, bad ass Rat Rod. Since it's a '51, I think you should name it after another bad ass 51, legendary Chicago Bear linebacker #51 Dick Butkus! Bad Butkus would be perfect man! The dude just terrorized other players on the field. There nothing out there like him or like this car. Keep on building 'em brother! Love your channel!

Name - V6 Turbo = make the V6 badge look like a V8 badge where the 8 sits inside the V and instead of writing out the TURBO use a picture of a real turbo to create a badge all next to one another... or can write out TURBO. also thinking of "B51" as in blazer and 51 together. Also note you doing way better on the swearing... thanks I know its not everyone who cares but it helps me flinch less LOL... Awesome channel also went to go look at puddings channel and found yours to be a bit more substance.

Just me. Good choice on leaving the hood opening the correct way. Also, those sure are ugly seat that look stupid in that car. A bench would look 100 % better.

Casey love the face shield. A year ago I was bench wire wheeling a rusty bolt.i was waring glasses felt something hit my eye,shrugged it off as dust . Next morning off to urgent care clinic. They had to grind the debris with, basically a dremal drill bit,then rinse. ,,any way where can a guy purchase a face mask,like that ? and is it a respirator? also?

Yea i had a spark go under a full face shield and get in my eye like 10 years ago and ever since then i said “screw it that’s never happening again” and i started using full shield respirators. Impossible for sparks and stuff to get to your face. I just use the cheap ones on Amazon, Google full shield or full face respirators and they will come up. I think these are like 45 bucks

BGUM (Big Green Ugly Mother). No mas pink. Stitches for the hood (multiple, small, belt loops - OK, pink if you want 😎). Love the compressor setup! Rough Roof Work - easy. When are you putting replaceable cast iron skid plates on the rear? Love that turbo - sounds like a Kenworth spooling up 😁

Dude, I really want to win that car. It is so cool. I really love your videos. But a name, that is a hard one, plus I suck at names. I'm going to try anyway, I saw the ELO on the trunk lid during a few videos. I was going to say Elmo, until I figured out that "ELOM" is not Elmo. Since that didn't work, I then was thinking of my favorite movie "Cars", so I thought "Flo" for low and slow. But the car does not look like her, so then I was thinking "Ramone." It is looking cool But starting to see why it is a 3500 dollar build The roof and door is looking a lot rougher now than in other videos Hope you are able to fix it, And if hood is not going to have rear hinges than it should have front hinges. Not sure why but the whole car just look rougher in this show than what I have open my eyes to in previous shows

Casey, I love it! Hearing that turbo spool up is incredible! And I think I thought of a name. Chevy used to call some of its cars a Club Coupe, I have no idea if that one is one of them and it fits with the Chevy Coupe. But also with Casey’s Customs the perfect name would be the CC-3500.

As always, Casey, I love it. The one thing that bothers me is the seats. I feel like it needs either low back buckets or a square body S-10 bench seat. I know you are planning on addressing them soon since they sit so high. Whatever you do, I know it will be awesome.
