This has an insane quality for a smaller youtuber, it's so well made and heartfelt, hope you grow as a content creator bc i loved watching your videos!!
Love to see another female solo traveler in her 20s who went to South Korea alone! 😊 I am also editing my vlogs from the trip right now (a bit late, I went there in Summer haha), I think your editing skills are so good, I have a lot to learn 😪 I felt the same as you, especially when I was in Nagoya (in Japan), walking on the streets with so many people in groups going out to party was a bit awkward 😅 But the nature trips though 🌿🍃 If you are not already back home in the US and still in Busan, I recommend the Igidae Coastal walk and the short mountain walk up to Seokbulsa, it was simply stunningly beautiful nature and there weren't too many people on the route, and the ones I did meet were so nice and friendly to greet me 🤗
I love your vlogs. I think much of the same. This feeling of loneliness while also desiring to be uncomfortable and push myself to be more social. Hope you are having a great time in Korea. The food looks great!
As a solo 20 year old traveler this video was soo comforting to watch, glad I found your channel!! btw I was in korea alone during chuseok as well last year haha
Amazing! Leaving the comfort of your home and family for a completely new country, all by yourself! RU-vid algorithm brought me here. Sub and liked! Looking forward to more of your videos!
im going on a solo trip to korea in a few weeks and will also vlog it on my channel. nervous to say the least but watching u makes me feel like i can do it
Wow I’m really impressed to your episode, editing things… I’m Korean American now but I feel same things like you when I visit to Korea … middle of day, eating times, night, .. I think bc I have memories and forgotten friends…. Traveling by alone is emotionally not easy . Thanks and see you at next episode 아름다운 여행이되길 기도합니다.
I was literally in korea alone around the same time, I arrived a day after chuseok. we could have hung out, I hope you had a good time and made some lovely friendships :)
Woahh Meagan! (You popped up on my suggested and I thought you looked familar!) It's awesome that you're making videos, they're so easy to watch and I really like your editing style. I went solo traveling for the first time this year too and it's cool to see your perspective, I felt like I related a lot. ~ Keep the videos coming! :)
AHHH hi Iggy - the absolute excitement I felt seeing your comment. Thank you so much for watching and your kind words 😊💙 Means a lot coming from a creator like you. I miss your Filipino cooking videos, looking forward to the comeback!
Don't worry my girl, you got this. I hope you have a great month in Korea. another person that I followed when TikTok she spent a month in Korea. she sayes top show to go to in Korea is kind of like a Korean version of the Chippendale dancers. she said it's worth it. it's supposed to be in seoul south korea. Have fun, be safe. and take a lot of videos. I love watching your videos. Then that's for the books that's the first thing I thought they got to be glued.😅😅😅
Quite funny to see how different types of people see things also differently. For me, having things planned out instead of roaming around or without any purpose takes the fun out of things! Of course, you don't need to plan everything obsessively, but I found it funny that you're exactly the opposite!
I don't know why I am like this hahaha, but good to know you can relate! I will definitely do more planning for next trip 😂 Thank you so much for watching! 💞
HEy Meagan! I just found your videos. I was on an exchange semester this spring term. If you get the chance and the weather 'allows' for it, you might check out Seoraksan Mountain (설악산) if you're into 'nature' and the coast city next to it, Gangneung (강릉). Also, these places were one of my favourite spots during the summer: Naksan Park (낙산공원), 노들섬 (Nodeul Island), or just a walk the Han River in general!!, 성수 (Seongsu-District) and 한남동 (Yongsam/Hannam-District), hope you have a great time and are able to embrace all the emotions :) !! I'm living my time there through your vlogs now!
So many stairs in the airport (couldn't find elevators) and so grateful to those who did help. It was painful and hilarious 😂. I'm also a 20 something, grinding at work, living with family. Very jealous and proud of you for going on your own. ✅️ 🛫 🤗. Our first dinner was crazy because we never learned to say "paying separately." They were so patient with us. (also don't feel awkward, you're talking to US 🙂)
Aww so glad to hear we are on a similar same boat! Getting to my first Airbnb from subway/airport was a nightmare because there were really no elevators + it was holiday so no one was around.. I wanted to cry and laugh at myself at the same time haha 🥲 Thank you so much for watching and leaving a sweet comment!! 💕
@meagandelrose it was nice to be with others (for me) but we still had to help each other bring one bag up the stairs at a time, it got to that point lol. Even if I were alone, I'd have laughed my butt off too. We found it hilarious 😂, painful 😒 and talk about being dramatic. We were definitely "those darn noisy Americans" lol
I'm thiiiiiiis close to saying screw it all and booking a solo flight to Korea, these videos are not helping 🤣🤣🤣 Excited to see how the rest of your trip goes!
@@meagandelrose thank u for ur message..awesome.im planning on going seoul next year n defo wanna see that cafe..iv subscribed to u n cant wait for ur next vid.stay safe xxx
Thank you so much for watching ❤️ And yes absolutely! I will work on a list of things & add it to the description boxes of these videos. I'll try to reply to you again here once it's ready. Thanks again 😊

I used a travel-friendly credit card 90% of the time! But cash is needed for refilling T-money card (subway card), street food vendors, and some smaller/local shops 😊 Thank you for watching! 🩷

Aww, loved this video. Reminded me of when I was travelling Seoul alone too, but I love how you share about your feelings of loneliness esp. day vs night. Can't wait to see more from you!!
I am so happy RU-vid recommended me this video, because I will be in a very similar situation in about a week! It's going to be my first time in Korea and my first international solo trip as well (and a long one at that, 6 weeks!). I am both so so scared and excited, but I hope I can enjoy my time alone and learn to be more spontaneous despite being in my late twenties :) Thank you for sharing your journey!
Aww I am so glad you are here!! I wish you an incredible time & a SAFE trip 🥰 So much you can do in Korea 6 weeks. You won't regret it & you'll remember it forever! Thank you so much for watching ❤ I'll try to edit faster! Haha
Thank you so much for watching 😊💞 Yes I hope you have an amazing time next year! Thanks for your patience with my response on this, this is my camera + iPhone 14: amzn.to/3GyN1jH
So true about night vs. day when travelling. I've also wondered if the books at COEX are glued down or actually read by visitors. loll... I'm so impressed by how you bravely walk into restaurants and eat by yourself. For some reason I can do it in the states, but not so much in Korea because Korean people are obsessed with doing things as a couple or with friends. Not that that's bad, just different from the US.
I used to work in Coex and most of the restaurants are expensive and are not very good there. The mall itself is pretty boring and too sprawled out. There's nothing really special about it other than the library. No noteworthy shops either.
The subway was almost empty because it was Chuseok but of course even when it is not busy - I give priority seating to elderly, disabled and pregnant passengers 👍🏼
I will also be travelling solo (Male) next March to Seoul, SK...super nervous as it's my first time traveling out of the country but it's been a bucket list of mine. I hope you're having a blast and made some friends! Would you be able to share some of the restaurants you dined at by yourself? :D
I appreciate that! It wouldn't be a real vlog for me if I wasn't honest about the lonely feelings sometimes.. But also many good moments too. Thank you so much for watching 🤗❤️
Never stop vlogging pleaseeee yours are so bingeable, so well filmed and of a high quality. Actually your vlogging really help me to go solo travelling too. I feel like it’s a therapy that I really need
I appreciate you so much~ 🥹❤️ I hope you get to go solo travel too! It feels scary at first but absolutely worth the experience (& it is its own form of therapy too honestly). Thank you so much for watching!
