Its bassmaster classic week at Lake Hartwell, Im here to fish the expo this weekend, but our air bnb happened to be on a small lake that has almost zero information on it, and I've never fished it. Theres a warming trend and its South Carolina.... so of course I had to go fish it!! I plan on spending the next 3 days here and Im taking yall with me on how I break down new water! SPOILER ALERT.... Its going to be amazing

Awesome video! First one I’ve watched of yours and I really enjoyed the way you do things. You showed real fishing and trying to figure the bite out and also gave us a close up of the fish finder and why you thought that pocket would be a good choice this time of year. I’ve actually got a torqeedo 1103 electric motor , and I use the foot control steering !

Like the double Colorado choice and the orange blade. While white and chartreuse is my favorite spinner bait color and obviously it caught the big fish for you, I recommend trying a brown skirt with that water color

This warmup has me itching to get out. Still some ice on our waters. What were your water temperatures? I think you said the air was 50s, so I'm guessing upper 40s to 50 on sunny side lake temp?

Water temps were upper 50s and even got up to 62 !!

I grew up fishing pretty frequently, but as an adult getting back into it I’m realizing I was never really good and got a lot to learn. It’s nice to even see someone I’d consider a Pro go periods of time without a catch. Like you said it gives a realistic impression. It’s much appreciated, as highlight reels always make me feel like I’m just not made for this. Thanks Again.

I love your RU-vid videos! I especially appreciate the fact that you call your grandparents. I’m a grandfather myself And I have had the honor and privilege of teaching three of my grandsons to fish. I broke my pb 3 times end last season after moving. All on swimbaits. Still haven't reached the double digit caliber yet. That's my goal for this season. I fished Clarks hill Russell & Savannah River small local lakes alot because there all under 25 minutes. I plan checking out Murray couple others this coming season. Good luck
