First day in Expert group at NYST - Best session

(video overlay details are at the end of this description...) This is the day I got my bump to Expert group at NYST. It has been a long but rewarding road to be sure. This is from my best session in the afternoon. I shaved over two seconds off of my fastest laptime. I'm still one of the slower guys in Expert but am on my way!
Bike: 2013 Honda CBR600RR riding on Dunlop Q3s
Video overlay: The base video was captured on a Sony HDR-AS100V. The lap timing, speedo, and map overlay was done using an app called RaceChrono Pro on my HTC One M8. The GPS data was fed to the phone live using a QSTARZ 818XT Bluetooth GPS. The video with overlay was completely rendered, after the fact, using the RaceChrono Pro app on the phone.

Nice Vid, I like your RU-vid name. I just turned 62 this past August, treated myself to a sport bike last December, a GSX-R 600. Haven't rode a bike in 20 years, but I'm having a blast catching up on the feeling of riding again. My goal is to do some track days and start a vloging channel. In the mean time I watch a lot of RU-vid videos to learn as much as I can about how to ride and stay safe. Regards, 85.

Wow very nice ... This is in ny ? where ? thoughts on a cbr600 vs yamaha R6 as a track bike?

+dbest1a Vlogs Thanks! The track info is at nyst.com It is south of Utica in central NY. I have not personally ridden an R6 so I cannot give an objective opinion. I do think the R6 is a faster bike but the CBR is more balanced which is what appeals to me.
