Plovdiv is a favorite place of all women. In Bulgaria we say that the most beautiful women are from Plovdiv. Plovdiv is the fifth oldest city in the world. It has always been known for the romance it gives. I have many friends from Australia, the USA, Canada, Germany and France who have moved to live there permanently, even people from New York USA. Although the preferred destination for the English are country houses, there is also an increased interest in Plovdiv, Varna Burgas and Veliko Tarnovo . In its vicinity there are many ski resorts preferred by the Greeks. Bansko, Pamporovo and Borovets are like Swiss winter resorts and are a big attraction with the class, luxury and atmosphere they have. Near it is the Mediterranean Sea in the face of Thessaloniki, Greece. A unique location for a wonderful life.
@@jackisonthemap The Bulgarian language is the oldest and third official language in Europe. All Slavic languages derive from it, the alphabet is the third recognized in Europe after Greek and Latin. The Cyrillic alphabet was invented in Bulgaria in the 9th century. For this reason, any similarity with the Russian language is normal, because we gave them the alphabet and it is a kind of dialectal form of the Bulgarian language, Russia itself was created many centuries after Bulgaria, the Russian language is of course different from the Bulgarian language, like Serbian, Croatian , Polish Ukrainian Belarusian, Czech, Slovak, etc.. but every Slavic language derives from Bulgarian, using the Bulgarian alphabet. Something like the Latin language, for Western Europe. Thus, for example, English, German, French and Spanish derive from the Latin language. Bulgaria is the 4th oldest country in the world existing to this day, with Japan being the first on the list. According to official data, there are 200,000 words in the Bulgarian language and about 170,000 words in English. Although a new kind of Oxford study recently said that there are 500,000 words in the English language, this is not yet an official statistic. And by this method of counting it is not known how many there are in other languages.

Hisaria - fortified city Diocletianopol Roman city, very well preserved over the centuries. The Madar horseman to the city of Shumen, the monument 1300. years Bulgaria in Shumen. The first capital of Bulgaria, the fortress of Preslav, and the second capital, the city of Veliki Preslav, these are fortresses and castles. In the vicinity of the village of Mezek (Svilengrad municipality), on the Kaleto hill, there are the remains of a medieval Byzantine fortress from the end of the 11th century. It is the best-preserved defense facility in the Rhodope Mountains. The fortress had the functions of a border guard fortress.. There are forts in Shumen and next to the Madar Horseman as well. Baba Vida and Ovech fortresses are also nice. Sorry we don't have Captain Cook magazine. Like in England, but I will write to the state institution to create one. Because there are so many and I can't write them all.
