How times change. Covid affected a lot of downtown San Francisco. So many closed stores, many in Westfield Mall. My son’s office is downtown not far from the Ferry Building. Our Citizenship paperwork/interviews were in the building next to the TransAmerica Pyramid. Where you came up the Greenwich steps and talked about the castle like house is where he had an apartment. He only stayed in it a year as parking was so difficult. We live approximately 30 miles inland as the crow flies, across the Bay. Lovely to see familiar scenery for us on your vlog
Lovely video. When I'm in SF and want to take the cable car I walk a few blocks from the turnaround and hop on at one of the stops. Still have to wait but if timing is right it's shorter. I love SF!!!!
This vlog bought back such happy memories for me , it’s been 9 years since I was last in San Fran ! We always stayed on the corner of Lombard and van ness! Another great location! Loved getting the muni to golden gate , then walk through tea at the Japanese tea gardens then down to the beach ! Loved doing all the museums ! Loved lunch at the rotunda in neiman ! The city is so pretty ! Can’t wait t9 see the rest of the series !
Great video, guys. I stayed in San Francisco for a week, a few years back. Used to love my breakfasts at Lori's Diner! Sadly, as a book fan, Borders Books had just closed and the one in San Francisco was huge.
What a fun video...we've never done the cable cars, maybe next time we go we'll get on one. My poor knees are aching from watching you climb all those steps and then you found out you could have taken a bus! 😁🤣 Loved the views from the tower!
Thank you. The plan was always to take the steps. I'd seen it in a YT video and we'd really wanted to do that as it looked so pretty. It didn't disappoint : )
