I was thinking of the sunburn when you were out there Sue! I got the worst burn of my life on my bare back, like 2nd degree sunburn while snorkelling in Fiji. I was up in tears of pain for several nights, and now nearly 10 years later, I still have the tan line of my bikini! 😆 The sun hits very different 🏖

Hi Sue and Noel! Watching your vacation videos really makes my day. Anyway, I noticed that shell game that you saw, that one is very similar (if not the same) to my country, the Philippines' traditional game. It is called "sungka" in my language. Fun to play with someone. The other board game that had different color marble like balls is a Chinese game called "Tiao Qi" (Mandarin Chinese) or Chinese Checkers . Also a fun game, but is more enjoyable if played with more people. I also noticed their traditional hut/ houses, which is also very similar to the ones we have in the Philippines, and to answer Noel's question about how people coped with the heat, well, these huts are designed to have very good ventilation. You totally deserved this break and what a place to be. HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY My daughter had the Maldives booked for her 30th but lockdown came and she had to cancel it was such a shame. Hopefully she will get there another time. Have a great time and enjoy every second of it. Stay Strong
