So, when an uncle adopts kids but is still their uncle it typically means the kids were his nephews to begin with but the parents can't care for them anymore for whatever reason. So the uncle became the legal guardian while still being biologically an uncle. They might call him Mr Nook because their parents were strict & said to call every adult but them Mr/Ms LastName. Some parents teach you to do that even to relatives.

it's so strange hearing about experiences in the game from people who didn't play the previous installments xp like not knowing b is sprint, or how the nooklings are nephews being a theory and not fact. It makes me super happy that people are finding enjoyment in a series that I love so much

You can talk to a villager after you got stung by a bee, they'll give you the recipie for medicine
