Can we take a minute to appreciate: - Back-to-back videos by Kaelyn - Your enthusiasm once you sat in the library (omg such an amazing library!) - Your enthusiasm about everything! Even the tea you get, the places you visit, I just love how excited you get! I wish you an amazing second year! I am also a second-year PhD student at the University of Zurich in Switzerland!
@@KaelynGraceApple I feel I've found my people with you and your viewers. I love school, learning, and books and it's wonderful to interact with others who feel the same!
I love your enthusiasm for learning, and your work ethic. You and The Vintage Academic are really great role models for young women, and women in general regarding education. Happy first day of class! And thanks for sharing your perspective and experiences with the rest of the world. 🙂. Also adding, I am absolutely in love with your library! I know from reading up on history of UC Berkeley that it was founded by a Yale alum and that may have had some huge influence in the design of the Doe Library. It has a very very similar design, so obviously I’m in love with Doe Library 📚 at UC Berkeley!
The first day of class is always so exciting! I'm living vicariously through you, since I'll be starting my thesis work this year and won't get the pleasure of attending classes. Have a great academic year Kaelyn! 💛
The Paper Chase is my favorite law school film, and every time I see it, I still feel anxiety. I'm not even in the film, nor have I taken a law school class, but I still fix nervous as an observer/watcher of the film. Strange.
Ahh so exciting! I imagine I'll be feeling all the imposter syndrome and shaky nerves when my classes finally start in a few weeks. It truly doesn't seem like I'm already halfway done with my grad program
Could you take more Yale Law Campus vlogs, please? It makes me motivated. I am a freshman law student right now, I want to make my llm degree in Yale Law. Good luck and best wishes for you from Turkey!
law ⚖️😍😍😍😍 the greatest achievement of humanity, Congratssssssss, tnx for ur sharing nd I hope u follow this path with the best experiences... respect nd love from Iran.
I really do wish you make it into Law School. I want to do my PhD in Political Science at Stanford (I have 10 other options that I am really excited about as well) and I am going to be using all of your advices. I am applying next year and I will come back to this comment in 2023 with the results. I have got a good feeling about it.
Our school doesn't start until after Labour day in Canada but I'm excited. Back to costume school! The program I'm taking might turn into a BA that's another 2 years and I hope it does as I wish to transfer to the University of Glasgow as they have an amazing Textiles history Masters program I want to take
I am going to the University of Glasgow for my masters in MRes for Russian Eastern European Studies. I hope that I am not out of my element when I go because my undergrad was in history.
Just discovered your channel. Out of curiosity, given your law school and social justice ambitions, why did you decide to pursue history as opposed to, say, sociology?
Hello Kaelyn, I am a undergraduate history student at Stony Brook University and planning on graduating in May 2022 with B.A. in History, and then going to a History Graduate Program. My Colonial North American and American Revolution history, my additional interests are the history of the Early Modern Atlantic Word and British Isles, particularly in the Early Modern Period. Yale University History Department’s Graduate M.A. in history Program is one of the programs I will be applying to, and I was wondering do you know the average cumulative undergraduate GPA for Yale University Graduate Admissions? I currently have a 3.950 cumulative GPA. Do you also happen to know the average cumulative your undergraduate GPA for other programs? such as The College of William and Mary, Rutgers University New Brunswick, and University of Pennsylvania?
