Our first night in our house was better than we thought. We thought it would be noisy at night because of the passing cars. But surprisingly it was very quiet and we slept soundly to the sounds of nature. On our first morning we organized our things and cleaned the inside of the house. It was exhausting, but we are happy. We didn't have time to cook, so my husband went to a local canteen called Karenderia to buy some cooked food. We had our first meal at home. It rained so hard the day we moved and all my husband's books got wet. It's a pity, they are good books about building and construction. We can use these books to build our future home. Boris tried to save them by drying them in the sun and it seems to be working. We don't have a water connection yet, so we went to the nearby spring to take a shower and also collect some water to use at home.
The next day we got up very early to start cleaning and unpacking our things again. I cooked some eggs for breakfast. I vacuumed the walls and floors. Then I started cleaning the kitchen. Our house looks a little better now. In the afternoon, Boris and I went to the local market to buy fish, they only have bangus here. We also bought some vegetables. At home I picked some sweet potato tops to add to my fish soup. We are happy to have so many plants in our garden that we can eat and use. We had a great dinner and are ready for tomorrow.
