Beautiful. Mary always sang with her body language as well as her voice. She would sway and keep time with spirit and emphasis. She had a way of shaking her bangs as she sang...

If Train B left an hour later than Train A and is only going 18 mph, while Train A is going 60 mph, how is Train B ever going to pass Train A? Did I miss something? Is it a circular track? I was always great at math, but I don't get it.

Great tribute to PPM. They are all talented. Here's the math solution to the Train A & Train B math problem. . . . Both Train A & B left the same train station with Train A leaving an hour earlier than Train B. Train A velocity is 60 mph while Train B is 80 mph. At some point in time since Train B is travelling faster than Train A, Train A will be passed by Train B. At that point in time, both Train A and B have travelled the same distance from the station. distance (d)= velocity (v) X time (t). 60t = 80 (t-1) . . . 60t=80t-80 . . . . solving for t, 20t=80 . . . t=4, which means 4 hours from 10 am which is 2PM Train B have passed Train A. The answer my friend is 2 PM 😊

I have been a Peter, Paul, and Mary diehard and loyal fan since I was 5 years old when they did their 1993 Peter, Paul, and Mommy Too PBS Children's Concert Special. In December of 2018 I fulfilled a 25 year dream and saw The Duo (Mary passed before I was ever able to see The Trio live)im concert at the Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse in Berkeley, California. I attended a meet and greet with Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey prior to the show and I specifically wanted to ask Noel about this spoof because I am familiar with his comedic background not only with The Trio but working in The Village before being discovered by Albert Grossman. For someone who was always known as the funny man with the sound effects in Peter, Paul, and Mary I was VERY surprised but extremely sympathetic to hear that Noel was incredibly offended by the spoof and thought it was disrespectful not only to the legacy of PP&M but also to Bob Dylan and especially the intent and purpose for which Blowing In The Wind had been written! This is someone who actually admires the comedy of Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Bacon, and Kyra Sedgewick, but he thought it was a complete shot at Peter, Paul, and Mary and an unfair blow to such an important song in American history! On the other hand, Noel did enjoy the Christopher Guest mockumentary film about American folk music A Mighty Wind because he thought the humor was executed in a more realistic and respectable tone. Thought you would be interested to know that Paul Stookey himself does not care to watch this clip and is absolutely disgusted by it!

It took a moment to catch my breath, Peter Paul and Mary sang this Dylan song at the Rev. Martin Luther King March on Washington in 1963. The event that Dr. King gave the world famous: "I Have a Dream" speech. I'm okay now. Meant in good fun. The song is a real part of US history, performed by white folk singing trio to a quarter million or more peaceful crowd, majority African-American. John F. Kennedy was still President.
