I had a 1990 750iL and changed plugs, plug wires, intake gaskets, rotors, rotor (distributor) caps, filters, suspension, O2 sensors, drive shaft (twice), fuel pumps, alternator, starter, radiator, fan clutch, steering box adjustment ... you name it! Had it to the point where I actually balanced a Euro on the engine cover while running. Mad props for tackling this, it's a heckuva job! :)

OMG Your knowledge of BMW's is so good that watching you replace and repairs the car like a neuro surgeon works on they patients. I wishes I just acquired about 1/10 of your knowledge I can confidently go to the repair shop and not get slaughter by the auto dealers repairs shop. At the moment I am at they merciful. Even I don't know much about auto mechanic but I can tell you once thing all of us really enjoyed your shows and greatly appreciated every minute of it. Would big bore throttle bodies, a 330i camshaft and a lightweight flywheel all work to make a 2.5 litre M54 engine more powerful for my E46 325i? Or do I need the way more expensive Schrick cam etc? In other words.... how can I make my 2.5 more powerful without a remap or an expensive engine swap? Any advice would be welcome please! :-)

My question is why aren't the previous owners of these BMW's performing any Preventative Maintenance? Most likely, cost of keeping up a BMW. And these are old models, imagine what a 7 Series from 2018 -19 would cost you in maintenance costs.
