Tata's have almost done it. Got rid of high NVH wala 1.2 Revetron engine with EV motor for 170-200 kms. Range. Which is really good. But I would prefer a Hybrid Technology because there is no need for extra charger. Plus range would never be a problem because it does have an option of Petrol as well. So best of both World EV & ICE alongwith good efficiency at an Affordable Pricing. Though expensive than CNG but no charging ka janjat or range limitations. Tata's should also offer Punch EV that would definitely boost it's sales nos. for sure. Since it lacks 1.2 World class refined engine it produces high NVH levels. EV will replace that NVH defect & offer Silent Motor & deliver better Torque or Power delivery.

Range is the only reason why EVs are not so popular... Other wise EVs are good choice

With almost all the EVs, Range Anxiety seems to be the main problem.

Anyways..kms range n effeciency is almost.. at par satisfactory ..but only major issue behind it..the easy availability of fast charging station..bcz that is something which becomes crucial especially in long trip journeys..!!

@icnstudio your reviews are most trusted...need a video from your side to suggest best 1 car and models for each price bracket may be for each 1 lakhs difference.. including all petrol, disel, cng,ev one best car for each price bracket between in price bracket between 5 to 15 lakhs.. it wi help all new buyers now

That's good, though If they release a proper hybrid variant of these cars then problem/anxiety of range will be eliminated too. Thereby effectively capturing market in price segment.

God bless with range anxiety. I don't why everyone is pushing for evs. Production of evs battery makes more polutiton than pretrol vehicle. Read some research magazines. Soon we will be fighting again to control evs battery production pollution which is very worsts compared to petrol pollution

Design/look wise this car is perfect and will probably sell a lot if it's available in ICE version.

This range is definitely not acceptable. Indians buy cars to enjoy long trips with their family and loved ones. With this kind of a mileage and charging time, the whole fun of trips is gonna be a range anxiety nightmare

EV's are basically meant to be your second car for everyday short distance transit. They are not meant for long distances and also where one has time constraints while travelling. I can never own an EV as it will never suit my requirements.

Good car for city rides. Petrol cars also have limited range of 350-400 kilometres on full tanks. It is also not unlimited

Tata tried their best to give ev in affordable price but unfortunately failed very badly... claiming 315km and giving 160 in real is very bad thing...maybe they will do great in future with range...but currently its totally a failure...

Tata should send this car to Maruti for Tweaking.. Then it will give a range of 650 KM... hehehehe. they will reduce their Special Loha and Reduce the weight by 500KG.

Very Pathetic. Having a Single person with AC off till halfway (70km) and speedometer showing 65-70, even after that range is less than 150. I wasn’t expecting that. Wondering the range with family and luggage and running at good speed.
