Technically didn't make it into its mouth thus not damaging its thick-armored skin and killing it. Later in the movie they kill them through weak spots in its skin getting on them😂

@@LingLongshot No it mainly eats cacti. And fun fact, the bigger a creature the less food it needs compaired to the size. There is a formula to calculate the speed of an organisms metabolism and the speed decreases with size. Except with hypercarnivores maybe, like Skullcrawlers from Skull Island. But they need to eat constantly to counteract the immense energy consumption and their habitat and biome has plenty food to provide.

Yeah, everything was there to make a decent and enjoyable flick, except the script. The stunned look at those bones as if they had just turned a corner and saw them. The Grenade in the mouth thing should have worked enough to at least get that creature to flee in pain. They had those spider creatures to contend with anyway, mostly. Having that Master Sargent take th frivolous time he did on that fallen character as they are being swarmed was complete idiotic nonsense...

Of all the the unrealistic things in movies, you call-out hand grenades making too big of an explosion? Lolz. And, actually, your statement is FALSE. In most movies, handgrenades look like typical hand grenade explosions. In THIS movie, it wasn't just ONE grenade that went off, it was a CLUSTER of them. Do u think a CLUSTER of grenades might make a bigger explosion? (duh). Also, we're talking about fictional worlds, perhaps decades or centuries in the future. Is it possible that 'grenade technology' might change over time? (duh). Think of how many variants we now have for missile warheads or artillery shells or mortar round types, from high-explosive to high-penetration, etc. Your comment is... petty and lame.

Allow me to add to your list: Doesn't get the RPG first for such a big target. Continues to have everyone use small arms weapons even though it's obviously ineffective. Commander stares stunned after buggy has been hit, rather then continuing to fire will the target it posturing. Doesn't order the group to split up to flank. Doesn't order them to try to find cover. Commander has no headgear on at all (ballistic glasses, helmet, hearing protection).

Step 1, acquire funding (which is insured against loss). Step 2, make movie for less than funding so get paid along the way as well as pocket left over. Step 3, make box office and dvd and other licensing money. Step 4, claim on funding RTO insurance so get all money back. Step 5, insurance company claims on the insurance they took out in case they had to pay shortfall on return. Everyone wins. Repeat on next movie.

I know it's fiction, but sand is NOT water/fluid. A giant body like that can't just move through compact sand like that and displace massive amounts of it as it moves through it. Ever tread water in a swimming pool? You could move around, right? Were you ever buried in sand up to your neck? Could you move AT ALL? Nope. Yeah. Same thing.

@@ronjon7942 no streamlining will help anyone or anything move through sand. Ever pour a bucket of sand into a cone-shaped pile? Pretty cool, yeah? Now try pouring a bucket of water into a cone shaped pile of water (not frozen and not snow). Thst demonstrates something called shear viscosity. But sand is really just a lot of small solids. So that whole submarine-sized thing moving through sand like it does is pure fiction.

@@pierre5473 Because um.. Dune is also FICTION and those Dune worms also couldn't just burrow like a submarine through sand. Sand is a solid mass of small particles, not a fluid. Just because something is 'possible' in an imaginary/fictitious movie with VFX and CGI, does not mean that it's possible in reality. But fine, if you suspend disbelief, anything is possible in movies, even if it completely violates the laws of physics.

That was excruciatingly bad. The creature design is that of a grazing animal, not a burrowing one. The minigun shoots more than two rounds per second and makes a whining sound, not a popping sound.

Sometimes you just can’t afford to hire a vet to give a lil guidance for your multi million dollar movie. I mean all you had to do was buy the beer. It would have made your movie at least somewhat more realistic. At least you would know something is up when they start laughing at your slow firing mini guns and and humvee keys

Haven't seen the movie. Decided to watch this clip to see if it would interest me. There was so much stupidity packed into a single scene, that I can't imagine surviving the movie - especially as a military veteran. This was killing me on every single level lol. Who is this team of SOF guys? Oh wait... why are there women in this team? Why does that chick have a Ranger Regiment patch? Did that one woman just pull out her 9mm to engage a guy on a hill 300 meters away? That's a huge animal, so I doubt 5.56mm and 7.62mm rounds are going to do anything to it, if they can't even penetrate tank armor. Man, that Dillon has been firing without a reload for a minute. Unlimited ammo was a thing in Afghanistan? I wish I didn't have the burden of reloading! Stop firing your weapons on full-auto! There's a SAW and automatic weapons already available! Even with something that big, I guarantee these idiots pulled some of their rounds off into nowhere. That's a LAW or AT4, not a friggin RPG! No US soldier ever called our anti-tank rockets, "RPGs." GRENADES DON'T EXPLODE THAT WAY! Wait, so the bullets and grenades do nothing, but the guy's BOW AND ARROW hurts this thing?!?!?! I just... yeah, I can't. I'll end up with an aneurism.

oh no the bullets and grenades did damage. this is just game accurate. the bow and arrow uses monster parts, probably green sharpness hence why diablos noticed it.
