For that pile of cut up logs, the telltale sign for Ash wood is those squiggles under the bark. It's from the Emerald Ash Borer, which probably killed that tree and is why they cut it down.

Enjoy watching your auction vids..Just found out one of our fav auctions here in Central FL just closed. We don't have home auction like you have in PA. They have Estate Sales & it's a pain to get around with so many people at them.
Those walnut planks were beautiful. Glad you got a few things. I kept noticing the men's black ice skates. They have some value. I sold two or during the polar vortex when the ponds frozen up. You can clean the blades w an sos pad if any rust. You got great deals!

Loved this auction video wasn't a real big one, but it was nice. Im glad you got that table and some of that treated lumber that stuff is really expensive. And i wish yo could have gotten some of that walnut. Beautiful. Love ya!
Hi Taco. For the first action of the year it wasn’t bad . The table was a great buy. You can use it to sort items in the wear house or up in your other space . And the older tools are cool I know a lot of people use them for decor in their garage and even in there homes in the man cave’s. Pretty sweet buys. Take care. TS, I take sawmill cut offs and what I call project pieces, stuff I've started on and didn't get back to, to the flea market and sell them. Don't have much right now, but have sold quite a few of them in the last few years. I would have bought all those walnut cut offs. $25 each or 4 or more, $20 each. You can adjust prices according to size.
Just a question, what made you decide against buying the wood in the end if you wanted it and it went for just five dollars? Not hating on your decision in any way just curious :)
