For all of those who are saying that's an exploiter: It would be extremely hard if somebody made a certain script for an exploit program that allows said hacker to play as Dandy since Dandy is a character that is only playable through Dandy's World staff members. The exploiter would have to make a bypass script which probably wouldn't even be possible. *In simple terms, an exploiter can't really access staff-only characters or scripts.* That would most likely require powerful FE executors (if yall know what that means) that cost money. Most, if not, all FE executors either cost money, are outdated, or don't work anymore. Also, pay attention to the fact none of the Twisteds chase Dandy even if he's right next to them, I'm pretty sure even an exploiter wouldn't be able to do that. Exploiters cannot affect maps or NPCs themselves. And all exploiters can only do simple things (if y'all remember that "Godten" video) like flying or noclipping and stuff. And I don't think even an FE executor or normal executor is capable of turning you into a playable Dandy without any glitches or abnormalities. As seen in the video, Dandy is perfectly normal and functions properly. You see how the person playing as Dandy has a name that's literally called Dandy, right? There's a big chance that's a staff member playing on an alt/test account. They could've gone on their main so people wouldn't suspect them being a hacker, which is weird, but yeah. Check dandy7181's friend list. There's a chance a staff member is on that list. The wiki is pretty misleading since it literally says it was a hacker without looking at the contradictory facts. (Also don't bother saying "I ain't reading allat" I only wanted to share my own thoughts LOL. If you're that lazy enough just look at the words in bold.)
My only push back is if its dandy themself that has them be invincible although it would be pretty bad for a testing character to be op as it's supposed to be for testing so idk
@@kittythunderbolt There's a possible chance the account is controlled by multiple people (as in staff members). It's just a theory, but I guess some of them would've just randomly friended people.
The wiki actually does say that Dandy will never be a public playable character, and is reserved to the devs/admins of the game, so that’s how someone played as him. Although… judging by the account name and the way Dandy moves, it’s possible he was also a hacker or bot.
Dandy is said to be a playable characters only for the devs/testers. It is said he has infinite health and well is used to test the game. It is still unkown wether the public will be able to play as Dandy
The same thing happened to me and my friend! We had a player named “Goob” just suddenly go from Poppy to Dandy. They said they were a dev “getting info from players” and asked our whole group questions. Mostly stuff that they claimed were for upcoming updates. No idea if they were actually part of the dev team (really doubt it) but it was an interesting experience nonetheless!
That probably was the same person. If you go now and look up the player with the name "dandy7181" you'll see that they've nicknames themselves "Goob". Considering their skin and the nickname, it's probably a hacker.
Id assume dandy is just straight up broken. He was never hurt by the monsters even though he was just standing there. The monsters didn't even bother to hurt him. I'm pretty sure that is like an admin character or smth along those lines. "But that's just a theory, a GAME THEORY!"

A Herobrine sighting being the equivalent to a Dandy sighting. X3 I wish I coulda seen Dandy. That must've been cool. Plus, I don't even know how many kids these days know much about Herobrine. Thought I heard Microsoft was trying to ban him from being in their version of MC. Neat you knew who he was. :3
im failing to understand HOW people think that his animation is just toodles or brightney, like there are SO MANY obvious details to tell that dandy has is own animation. like his petals moving around.
i think in the full games release. Dandy will be a playable character. by getting the Alpha Player badge. Getting every Toon. Getting every Trinket. Getting every Research. and getting every Character to 100 Mastery
If Dandy is ever playable to the public (just a imagination I’m sure he never will be) I hope he’ll be hard or at least not so easy to get (Like I’ve heard ppl saying if you got the Alpha badge when the full game releases you’ll get him as a reward, again he’s obviously not) I would hate for that to happen bc he’ll be so common. Just in an alternate universe if Dandy ever was playable lol
Dandy is a dev/tester/admin only character, i'm pretty sure he only has one passive (could be an activatable ability) wich is being immune to all twisteds
What’s happening is it’s either a developer who has access to become dandy, or an exploiter who managed to become dandy, also cool fact dandy right now has brightneys animation
ik dandy is only for devs and will never be released to public, but wouldn’t it be cool if you could buy dandy’s toon license for like 5000 tapes and it rarely spawns in dandy’s shop
when Qwel was making the poppy trailer she made dandy a playable character so the code for the dandy toon is still in the game so he probably hacked it so he can become dandy
I also saw dandy. I didnt make a recording but by the time dandys attacked thing wasn't in so like he could literally distract my getting hit inf times
