I've had really good luck with Goose Creek. Always a really strong throw and consistent. Even the vanilla scents are strong and I can smell them all throughout my house. The only thing I've found is you have to be diligent about trimming the wicks. Nice haul! Keep us updated on what you think of them!

The last time I ordered from them was 2020 they used to have large jars which were amazing then they stopped them. I don’t like the labels they have now I like to see the flames I used to buy pumpkin pie and blackberry bourbon. I still have about 3 Christmas candles I’m finishing they smell good.

The large jars were amazing! I’m still using them up and I mourn each one that I finish - but I do enjoy them to the fullest! Just placed an order to give them another try, though my past experiences with the 3-wicks were not so great, they just do not compare to the beloved large jars!

I've been a loyal Goose Creek candles fan for 4 yrs. I own ALOT definitely over 100. My favorite is Key Lime Cake Pop. I really like Expresso Cake Pop too. I like that it smells like dark chocolate cake. If you want a good coffee scent Strawberry Shortcake Cafe Ole reminds me alot of Paris Cafe . The Candyland collection is really good too. Gramma Nut is dupe of Pumpkin Peanut Brittle . I think you would like Queen Frostine it smells like Buttercream Frosting.😊

I put my GC candles in my candle crock or candle plate warmer. Otherwise they smell weird halfway through if I burn them. They do beautifully in the candle crock.

I’m curious why they never simply just perfected their paraffin jars and went a TOTAL Bath & Body Works Route, like IDENTICAL to BBW!

Goose creek burner here! I would recommend a shorter burn time with goose creek, say two to two and a half hours. You’ll need to trim wicks too. You’ll see wick residue once the candle reaches the halfway point most of the time.

I have trouble at the halfway point I start getting sooting. Is anybody know how I can stop that maybe I'm burning too long. Great review!

@@gglee313 I recommend quite short burn times. Also, trim the wicks SHORT. I also wipe the wicks before I light with a little bit of paper towel to physically remove any residue build up and that helps A LOT!

I often purchased their paraffin jars at discount stores back in the day and enjoyed them. I recently purchased the strawberry shortcake candles and Candyland bc THATS MY CHILDHOOD!! I’ve ALSO HEARD bad things about Goose Creek a few years back in a particular candle group. Kind of rubbed me the wrong way. But I don’t want to be the person listening to hearsay so I figured try them out. I just don’t understand Why they didn’t perfect their Paraffin jars and went a totally different route JUST LIKE BBW candles.

Drew I’ve been watching you Since you FIRST came out RU-vid reviewing candle!! U were so Little!! You always had a way to describe candles and always enjoyed watching ur channel!! And I KNOW I can always trust your HONEST thoughts and opinions!! Unlike some reviewers that receive PR and simply Love EVERYTHING! Or at least 98% of Everything bc it’s just not believable to like EVERYTHING! Wax coloring can clog wicks.

I discovered Goose Creek wax melts at my local Walmart. And got one to try out. Good scent performance for hours. Happy new year as well 🎊

Melanie of Bright House Scents on RU-vid did a video on the Goose Creek Candy Land Collab and that is more nostalgic for me than Strawberry Shortcake. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!

It’s a hit and miss with goose creek.. I have had some really good burners that could compare to bath and body works but mostly they get gross after the halfway point. I stopped purchasing them. Would definitely be a hit if they could get a handle on burn performance because they have so much bakery and come out with new collections often. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts.

Hahaha you just activated my Alexa.. goose creek has some amazing candles, I really loved their paraffin jars RIP 😢, but lately have had inconsistencies with strength and throw.

I've only tried Goose Creek wax melts once some years ago. There were just ok to me, I don't think I've ever tried the candles though. Aww you have 4 cats? I'd love to see them in a video 😊 cats are so cute!

I love GC. I hold them equally to BBW and don't really buy any other companies anymore. They might have some at your local Walmart if you want to sniff before buying. I bought my blueberry cheesecake there.

DREW CHECK OUT THE “BEST FRIENDS” Strawberry Shortcake candle notes. Looks like it has the strawberry and CAKE NOTE ! May be more similar to that other Strawberry Poundcake candle you hauled. xx jenn
