In this video we travel from Vancouver to London, England to snowboard at the indoor Snow Center in Hemel. This is the first stop on our snowboarding tour around Europe. We had roughly 13 hours of travelling before arriving in London. Our friends Yanik and Nirav met us at the airport and brought us to the Hemel Snow Center. We had an incredible time meeting many fans of the channel in the area. We also got a great tour of the snow center and how they keep it running. It was a great experience snowboarding indoor and I was blow away by the fans that came for the meet up! The next stop on our trip is in St Anton, Austria which will be another twelve hours of travelling. Thanks for watching!

Hervé Maas botrop is almost flat you kan not make so mutch speed there I personally go to skidome Rucphen every Saturday and Sunday love snowboarding

Hey Kevin, I would be super stoked if you'd be in Kühtai in Austria. I will be there from the 14th until the 16th of February. They have the biggest halfpipe in whole Austria in that resort and some decent jumps in the snowpark too.

Well, yeah, one has to make due. If it lets you snowboard in the summer, though... I might welcome that (only when there's no natural snow outside). I get BAD snowboard withdrawals during summer.

I live pretty much right next to the one in Landgraaf (NL), the biggest one in Europe. And it is exactly this, after half a year you get withdrawals and head out only conclude it's just not the real thing. But it's still fun if you go with some friends that try to learn snowboarding so you can focus on teaching them instead of reaching the bottom of the slope in 0.5 seconds.

maarten, I was going to travel to landgraaf to try that place out , in the off season obvs. i find the ones in the uk a bit too fake. the artificial snow isnt great and is quite sticky. they are also really short runs. is landgaaf any better?

Well i haven’t been in any other indoor venue so i can’t compare. But the snow is pretty sandy and not sticky at all. Very slow snow anyway. There are 2 longer slopes and a beginner bump. In the middle there is a small park with a jump or two and a cozy skibar in a wooden cottage halfway down. Haven’t been in ages though.

You should definitly visit Snowworld Landgraaf in The Netherlands, it has the biggest indoor park of Europe (the world maybe?) with a lot of diffrent features :)

can't believe this!!!!! i was there in hemel hemstead at the snowcenter on Thursday 25th Jan practicing jumps and tail rolls. i have been watching your videos for months. i saw you there at the lift!! i thought this seems kevin from Swomboardprocamp! but then i said cannot be they are from canada cannot be. what are they doing here??? ahah! so cool!!! always believe your gut feeling!! hope you enjoyed the center. see you in canada next season!!

It was funny seeing you guys in a video at Hemel, though probably best it was unannounced as you’d have been mobbed! Watching TJ and Kevin have a pretty average time does make me sad that this is what we have to live with in the UK. I’ve just come back from 2 weeks in Austria and not relishing the thought of my next trip to the fridge :( Enjoy the rest of your travels, Europe has some fantastic shredding on offer in resort.

It can help to wear googles if the air conditioning irritates their eyes.

Some of us have eyes that water uncontrollably in pretty much any cold air. I wear goggles everytime I ride for that exact reason, even warm spring days.

You can also jack up your eyes if you fall on your face. Goggles are never a bad idea

Welcome to the UK. Gotta say though, why fly from one if the most popular mountains to a scrappy indoor centre. Don't get me wrong, I'm at this place when I need to just get on a board. But I would rather have a mountain instead. Enjoy your trip! Hit up Bristol if you get time.
