Your conversation was so interesting. I'll add my two cents. I was born in a PR/Black family in the Bronx with 80% of family on welfare and happy to be there at the time because it was easy. I went to college and got a job and worked and succeeded well - then worked with my family to pull the rest of them off the government dole they were majorly stuck in. And they're much happier for it - own homes, kids in college and military, and progressing. Did we vote to make any of these decisions? Nope. We just actually invested in ourselves without blaming a boogyman or anyone holding us all back. That's why I like Tom's music and message. I enjoyed your guys reaction. I don’t know what some of the negative comments were about, you guys were doing exactly what Tom wants us to do, talk. There will never be a time where everyone agrees with each other 💯 but we can all learn to listen to each other and try to see where other people are coming from and civilly agree to disagree. If we don’t we’re going to find ourselves in a country where we no longer have a voice and we’ll be working for the government instead of the government working for us. We are already giving the government way too much power. I recommend everyone listen to Yuri Bezmenov’s interview. It’s very eerie because you can see that it’s happening. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Tom hasn’t seen it because the steps he outlines are pretty similar.

Towards the end, red shirt guy said we were once property. I do believe at one point in time, every group of people were property. Africa had European white slaves along with black slaves. No group was immune. The black slave owners in Africa were the ones who sold their slaves to the slave traders who brought them to all different countries - not just here. And there were black slave holders here also. The first legal slave holder in America was black. Slavery continues to this day. I am not condoning slavery at all, I just wish he'd realize 100's of thousands of people died to end it here, and over the years we have tried to right all the wrongs we made as a country. We will never be perfect - but we're working on it. And the other guy said white people have better job opportunities. I do believe there are black doctors, lawyers, plumbers, politicians, teachers, electricians....what job isn't open to a black person? There are poor black, white, asian, hispanic people and rich black, white, asian, hispanic people. We should all just be doing the best we can and stop looking in the past to justify our present. If we all look, we could all probably find something that we could blame our current condition on - much easier than just blaming ourselves.
