Not seeing a comment on it, but the theme is super powers. This video is tied with another of their songs called "Lucky One", where you see them trying to escape from capture presumably their fictional government. This came after that one and there are a few theories that this video took place with the storyline of one member betraying the group an saving them in the end, though nothing has been confirmed by the company. They have a few videos like this where you'll see them using their super powers with a thematic storyline, similar to the video Ko Ko Bop. As a fan I'm glad you're enjoying the group and appreciating the little things. Its rare people shout out directors or pay so much attention to how they strategically incorporate the use of their clothes/hair/etc for main stream appeal.
