37:28 I’m from Hong Kong and Hong Kong-style lo mein and chow mein were literally my high school go-to meal/snack!! Lo mein is stirred noodles - in Hong Kong or any East Asian place you basically just dump some sauce in some noodles, stir it up, and you can eat it like that Chow mein, however, is *stir-fried* noodles and usually involves 1. more garnishes and ingredients and 2. more heavy seasonings so I personally eat lo mein as a snack but chow mein as a meal Not sure whether US-style lo mein and chow mein are different than the Hong Kong-style ones though - but you guys talking about the meins are making me so hungryyyy it’s close to midnight my time ok time to make myself a lo mein

Chow Mein is vegetables and a protein, Lo Mein is Noodles and vegetables. Chow Fun is same as Lo Mein but wide noodles. Can't wait for Nantucket! When is the Nami going to be restocked?

i think what you meant amber was the chinese way of saying ramen is la mian which is 拉面! but i’m prettttyyyy sure lo mein refers to lao mian which is 捞面 and is the yellowish egg noodles (not ramen). correct me if i’m wrong 😅
