Episcopalians affirm the trinity, the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, real presence in the Eucharist, veneration of Sainthood, and a literal heaven and hell. Sounds pretty Christian to me.

Sarcasm Mike! I love my Anglican Church and am proud of female ordination. When I asked an RC priest why they didn’t allow women into the priesthood, he replied that they had to “look” like Christ bc they are representing Christ. I asked him if all his priests were Jewish to complete that look.😂😂😂

@@tristankramer4636 Which needs to be read in its contexts. Otherwise you'd be wearing sackcloth and sacrificing lambs. Think about all of those courageous women in the Bible like Mary of Nazareth (literally abandoned the life she had to give birth to Christ), Deborah (A female judge known for her compassion), Miriam (Moses' older sister who saved him as a baby), Elizabeth (Who gave birth to John the Baptist when she was too old to conceive). We sometimes forget that without Elizabeth we would never have had John who would never have baptised Jesus. An integral part of Jesus' life. Women have an important role in the Bible and if you want to take small little passages then by all means but the wider picture tells a lot about the courage and strength women have in the Bible. Jesus was even on their side and asked for equality for women after their husbands died. But if you don't agree it's ok. I just wanted to share some light on the subject.

Whether they be prophets or Holy People or anything, it has nothing to do with the Priesthood. The Jews only had Men. And the New Testament commands only Men. It is not about women being strong or anything it is God’s ordained roles in his kingdom and St Paul clearly states that the office of a Presbyter is for a Man. Please also bear in mind that I almost became Anglican and i tried to wrestle my way around the various texts but to no avail… they are simply so clear.
