What a handsome young man he was! And he is still a handsome man today, from the videos I've watched. You can tell Mother and Son love each other very much. Thank you for sharing this video.
It was indeed. And it was so cruel how the world was to that ill poor King! God's bless to his son. Your Schabanu and the late Schah can be so proud! I would, if I had such a nice and friendly and intelligent son! And I hope, no, I KNOW, your country and you all will be happy and free again on day :)
One of the best king in the history of iran ali raza shah pehlavi he helped pakistan, India, China, arab states, etc but no body help him include pakistan I m pakistani but I love shah of iran allah zul jalal give him janat ul pirdus ameen pakistan

We have a line in Germany: 'The wheel is turning'; it means, as the wheel world and history will never stand still. Maybe in the moment the bad ones, the devils, have your country in their devilish fist, but this is not for the rest of all days, until the world will end. I am sure, we all will see the moment when your beautiful country is free again. God's bless to you and your beloved ones! And all my best wishes for those who had gone into heaven already. They are happy and safe, and watch over you all. They will help to bring your fate back to bloom. It was so nice back then, (your eldest son is as old as my sister, and your daughter, Princess Fahranaz, as old as me, I thought as a child we somehow gre up together, I hope you will net get angry! I felt a special bond to your lovely daughter), your people seemed so glad, and you have always been such a nice and friendly Lady. I think you are so great, until today you are willing to think about everything what has happened, I never saw you unfriendly, cold, speaking hard words to anybody. All my best wishes to you! You had to suffer so much, but the day soon will be dawning where you will get lots of love and luck, you' ll see. And I will be the first german who will send you congratulations, and ask God to take care for you all and your dear son, the King. Greetings from Berlin in Germany!
Thx alot man you are a really nice guy...i agree with you as your country was ruled by mad men as well i really hope that the pahlavi rule again and that our people live happily again...
free? were they free under the dictatorial shah? now they are a democracy whether you like it or not at least they have a say in who comes to power. 'free' indeed
Mossadegh the democratically elected leader who preceded Reza Pahlavy was ousted by the CIA because he took back Iran's oil industry which was primarily in the hands of the British, Americans and French and nationalised it. Before the nationalisation Iran was getting only a miniscule percentage of oil revenues. British Petroleum got disgustingly wealthy on the back of Iranian oil. The US was able to take back control of Iranian oil reserves once the pro-West Reza Pahlavi was reinstated. Iran's coffers overflowed with the 1973 oil crisis and instead of investing in infrastructure and in other areas which would have built a sound foundation for Iran's economy, he invested hugely in arms and weapons which were imported from the US. Pahlavi's was to make Iran a super-power in the Middle East. His white revolution did not bring any advantages to rural Iran. More than half the country's population remained poverty ridden. And then the mother of all galas to mark 2500 years of Iranis monarchy.....Pahlavi was also very insecure about the fact that his days of glory were very much dependent on the largesse of the US. That said, the present regime is also a nightmare. Theocracies and autocracies always are. Mohammad Reza's regime was very corrupt and his secret service SAVAK committed huge human rights violations - torturing and killing dissidents. These people were/are disgustingly wealthy. Pahlavi's daily meals used to be flown in on the Concorde from Paris - every single day. While 51 percent of Iran's population was poverty stricken and there was a drought ravaging the country the man celebrated 2500 years of the monarchy by organizing the most expensive party in recorded world history. No Iranians were invited and all the contracts for the preparations went to European countries - mostly France. It was appalling. Reza Pahlavi and Farah work ed for the emanicipation of women ? Farah was the Pahlavi's third wife. He divorced his first two wives because they could not bear him sons. Emanicipated indeed. Also did he even know that the sex of the child is determined by the chromosome configuration of the male and not by that of the female ? Regardless how is this progressive in any sense ? The family fled Iran not because they thought they were doing their country a favour. They ran because they feared for their lives. The Pahlavi line was founded by a non-aristocratic Manzadarin soldier in 1925. So much for all those who believe in dynastic monarchies. The Pahlavis are not descendants of Cyrus by any means. They are arrivistas. Moreover Mohammad Reza Pahlavi himself ascended the throne riding on the CIA's coat-tails - a CIA backed coup for which he was paid a million dollars....laughable. He was a stooge of the Americans. An inept ruler he was. He was also notorious for his infidelities, for his insatiable sexual appetite and for his penchant for tall, blue-eyed European women. The family in exile....Farah lives in a luxurious Paris apartment with live-in domestic help. She has a car, a chauffeur and a body-guard. Valentino sends her his private jet so that she fly to Milan to attend a fashion show. The family has a huge fortune tucked away in Swiss banks and other tax-free havens. Some exile. She prefers to be addressed as Shahbanou and spends her time rmaintaining her "image" as an "empress" . These people are privileged and their lives cannot be compared to those of the simple folk who either stayed back in Iran or had to flee the Khomeini regime. As for losing children to suicide - I completely empathise. But worse things happen to ordinary people. God forbid this family be reinstated as monarchs or given any form of authority ever again. The current regime is a nightmare and a democratically elected government is definitely the answer. But a consitutional monarchy is unnecessary.
In the past, a woman who was unintelligent would not be taught to become the best possible cook and would be expected to die on the street at age 18, not being able to mother a family, or to work as a servant or slave. Your parents did this to you, because they knew you were the least intelligent sibling. I reached the same conclusion before being born.
