Next weeks video has a section covering what props for the Avata 😉✌️ As for Amazon you may want to double check that your currency is in NZD, otherwise that sounds like it’s USD right now. Shipping shouldn’t be too much to NZ though 🙂
Great video. From what I understand the better clarity on the Integra goggles - due to the narrower field of view - is because of the smaller aspect ratio of the image on the screen not a change in distance. 👍🏻
As far as connecting your phone in the US for RID. You are required by FAA regulations to have a visual observer standing next to you. They can watch a live feed while you fly.
Hey Brodie. Great video review of the Integra goggles. I'm very happy with mine and totally loving flying the Avata. I thought the kit I was buying included the RC Controller 2 but, my bad, it didn't, so I've got them on back order. Cheers Paul. 👍
Plastic lenses are not higher quality than glass. They are cheaper to produce and suffer from distortion. That is why it's a smaller field of view on the integra, because it's harder to produce wide angle lenses with plastic. The integra goggles are cheaper because they are inferior to the goggles 2 and lack the extra features, such as touch pad, being able to watch videos and multi coated wide angle variable glass diopters to say but a few.
Don't buy those, lol. That battery pack is literally 2 18650s that you can't replace without replacing the whole head strap. I'd rather have a cable with easily replaceable battery packs.
How much smaller do the screens in the integra feel to you? Is the normal g2 noticibly more immersive? I'm coming from v2 so g2 is already less screen than that.
Interestingly enough I think that you’ll find that the G2 are more immersive than that of the V2s as the screens are closer to the eyes. The G2s have OLED displays which is a step up from V2s, they also are a higher resolution and brighter display too. All of which I think aids with the more immersive feel!
@@BrodieReed But then g2 or integra? Idk how i feel about the integrated battery, it's fine in my pocket. Have you noticed the extra latency / lower frame rate? (100 vs 120fps)
If I was you I would get some RU-vid training, like online courses/blueprint cos you must be doing something wrong. This channel should have 211k subs not 2,11 and videos like this one 714 K views not 714.... Everything is beyond... the video quality, editing, info, you as a pilot ( ambitions, mindset ), funny additions, clips, shots, music, sound, knowledge. I follow 90% of the scene probably all over the world and even Rotor Riot or guys like fpvwithpatrick/johny_fpv/bubby/Lumpy/Vanover can pass you the towels and water bottles in terms of content quality and editing. Doing the same thing expecting different results its a definition of insanity that's why I think you should look deeper into technical part of RU-vid instead of just smashing this incredible videos, "wasting" hours and days to record them and edit to then get 1k views... its disgusting. My shit*ty clips deserves that type of views IF THAT lol - but not this..... Wish you all the best I'm sure this channel will eventually blow if you make some adjustments.
As a long-time viewer, I must say that I am astounded by the quality of acting in this clip. That moment where you're looking undecidedly at each set of goggles? Amazing. Love you long time. #bringbackthesweatshirt
Haha let’s go man! The funnier thing here is the fact that the indecisive moment was literally a cut of me trying to remember what features I was talking about 😂 I was looking at both goggles tryna figure it out by looking at the differences haha Maybe the sweatshirt should be a merch drop 👀
@@BrodieReed For the moment, I'm just going to pretend to believe you on that acting thing not actually being an acting thing. At least you're not being all 'cool' with those damn shades any more (yeah, yeah, I know, eye and all that), but I couldn't help think of rockstars who do interviews with sun glasses on. You'd think they'd show the interviewer the minimum of respect and remove their glasses. But I digest... Oh, right, back to the content. Enjoying your work thus far Brodie, cheers.
