Full leg sleeve and man bun + Jean shorts and +2/3 handicap have never been seen in the RU-vid golf space. Couple these things with a super polite southern gentleman persona and you got somethin special. You gotta make a series where you go around to private clubs and challenge randoms, there are people out there who can help set up these matches. Game is too good to be playing solo. 🔥
Chance, I believe you have the potential to go far in the world of social media golf. If that is something you want, keep pumping out content (on multiple platforms), but NEVER compromise your unique identity- that's what sets you apart. One invite to play with a semi-popular channel, and you'll be off to the races.
The younger generation doesn’t find him relatable. The viewers of golf content are overwhelmingly boys under the age of 16. They aren’t going to watch a jean short wearing country boy with a big old chew and Metallica shirt. They want clean cut country club dorks. We may find him relatable, but 90% of RU-vid consumers won’t. Sad reality
😂😂😂 Gosh I love this! This is what the car community calls a "sleeper"! No wild colors, bells or whistles, but golly, you open up that hood and see what its capable of... Dont ever judge your book by its cover!!
Golf content has felt quite stale for a bit but yours is a welcome change. Love that you play the country man cow pasture courses also not just some nice country club course. Great content!!
That's what I'm saying, I judged him off the rip and ate my thoughts quicker than his swing😂 he'll be the reason I don't judge off the rip anymore, and I been doing it all my life without thinking bout it😳
Dang Chance, love your game, attitude, and narration! Please keep going and get some RU-vid collabs going. You’re a RU-vid penny stock about to explode. 👊👍
I forgot all about this course. I’ve played it a million times both under par (influence) and over par (sober). Loved this course when I was in my 20’s. Watching from Houston, TX now. Keep it up.
you know when you see someone show up like this to the first tee they're either scratch or gonna shoot 150. as someone who's played the vast majority of his golf in flat illinois this course looks INSANE
This is the 1st video I've seen from Chance. He seems very laid back and chill so I'm subbing. That course has the most slanted fairways I've seen. It reminds me of our local club in Blackshear GA where the 1st and 3rd holes are very difficult to stay in the fairway. Hole 1 is a short par 4 but if you hit left right or long then you'll be making a bogey. Hole 3 is a reachable par 5 with the entire hole forcing your ball to kick hard to the right into a clay waste area. I'm not much for laying up on most par 5s but the best way that I can manage that hole is to hit a high and hard draw with a 3 iron just to stay in the fairway. The whole front 9 is very unique and the fairways are hard packed red clay making the course more difficult than it appears to be.
Great video, you seriously have potential. Not just at golf, but at content creation as a whole. You have the right personality and make it very interesting.
Feel like a GoPro in the cart, and setting the camera angle a little lower so we can see the ball flight better would go a long way for the production quality on these videos. Can’t wait to see what comes out of this channel!
Great swing, entertaining content. Short game give us commentary on the wedge your using, the lie, and how you plan to snuggle it up to the pin. Love the full round videos. Wish I could have a weak grip like yours and generate that much power.
That course looks frigging terrifying. Even a solid drive into most of those fairways has you hitting from a 30-deg slope. Helluva round, my man. You've done the Old Dominion proud.
I grew up in WV playing on super tight, woods-lined courses like this. This course is giving me PTSD, LOL. Also, people on my channel earlier this year were giving me crap about wearing jeans in my pre-March rounds back in WV. They would lose their minds if they saw you playing in cut offs, hahaha. I tried to explain Appalachian "golf attire" but I don't think they were buying it.
“Good driving range 7 iron” has opened my eyes 😂 I have different yardages for driving range and on course and maybe sometimes I should swing on the course like i do on the range!
Keep them coming man. I appreciate you changing the camera work it’s a lot easier to watch your videos with full screen. I have watched your stuff for a while and I appreciate what you do.
For those that might try and leave a comment saying it’s not a true 59 because it’s the same 9 twice… sure whatever, but look at how much slope you have to contend with. Definitely doesn’t look easy! Love the swing! Very natural made at home swing which is awesome!
Glad this came up in my recommended. After just a minute of watching, I remembered watching a clip of you and a little guy on Monday Q Twitter i think. Glad you are uploading. Love the course. So much of YT is not courses I prefer to play. To me this is golf I can relate to, other than driving par 4's 😆
hey chance idk if you remember but i seen you playing this course and got a picture with you, along with you signing my headcover. can’t wait for you to make the pros
