I’ll admit. Game looks the best it has in at least 7 years. I thank college football 25’s 4 years of development for all these new features.

All the boom tech, signature moves, and flip stick but not the logic to kick a field goal on the 20 with no timeouts.

I’m cautiously optimistic. I’m really having fun with NCAA, not sure I’m gonna buy Madden this year. Felt like Madden has been very disappointing last 10-15 years. We’ll see, thanks for the vid Eric!

Such a small detail but look at 15:53 when #2 pats Tua on the back and his pads shake. I know gameplay comes first but I love seeing stuff like that. Same with the streamers they added to the FG posts (though there’s no wind in this game and they’re moving like crazy)

none of this matters if the cpu doesn’t know when to kick a game winning field goal

They still automatically line up to formation. Wish it was like CFB 25 where they actually run from their huddle

Madden 25 looks really good despite all the doubts. The new graphics and logo designs give me noslogia for some reason and I love it. Reminds me of the good madden 13,15, and 25 days.

The game still has too many animations that slow down the fluid motion of the game.

The crowd looks sooooo dead

Running animation looks better than 22-24 but some of the tackles have noticable warping and shifting like CFB25. Almost like the game decided late on the animation and then sped it up. 13:52 is a good example of this. Oddly enough, M21 on next gen had less shifting when you played on 0 threshold.

I like how the ring beneath the players match the team colors

Where are the Next Gen Stats and camera shots of Super Fans in the crowd?

Madden really got to start adding tattoos to the players who have them ! Idk how they forget that "touch of realism" for real though . Like we are in next gen g0d damm!+

Dude. That is so sweet. I'm a Dolphins fan, and I only run with the Dolphins. I love that playbook. One change I would love to see is a change of the logo on the field when teams go to their throwback unis. When the Dolphins switch to their throwbacks at home, that logo in the field changes. Please make the suggestion.

Nice small additions I’ll admit, but I’m sticking with NCAA 25. It’s just far and wide a better title than the past decade + of madden.

I just don’t understand how it’s possible random madden modders clear this by miles a few months after a game comes out every year but the actual EA devs can’t figure out how to make a remotely realistic football game

The cpu A.I. not kicking the FG to tie or at the very least not throwing the ball into the endzone is crazy

I still think that spectacular catch feature is ridiculous.

The immersion gets ruined when the CPU doesn’t have the awareness to spike the ball and kick a fg…not sure why this was completely ignored in your video being that it was a crucial moment in the game

I dont understand why the NFL is allowing EA too get away with the no huddle/walk too the line. U taking 12 seconds off the clock each play, but what about those critical situation when u have 12 seconds left and want too call a timeout. U could rush to the line and spike the ball, leaving about 6-8 seconds. Then do a Hail Mary or something. even hopefully get a pass interference call, like in older games. So what is it now, just lose the game?? This is not realistic and if u want too be the only exclusive simulation game in the NFL, then be realistic. Bring the walk to the line back in the game like in College Football 25. Come on Man!!

Eric coming in clutch. I'm knee deep in the three-week EA FC 25 beta right now, so I've enjoyed the recent videos about CFB 25 patching and this video with Madden 25 gameplay. I will definitely have to switch to Madden at launch. Across its various franchises, 2024 seems to be a big year for updates. CFB 25 obviously is back but Madden is fresh (including franchise) and EA FC 25 has plenty of new enhancements to its Career Mode. Hopefully, we can stay trending in this direction.

The stadium lights actually seem to affect the lighting on the field.. small thing I noticed

The only reason Jalen Hurts does that low squat during the snap was because Jason Kelce would snap the ball very low so since Jason Kelce retired it’s not very accurate any more

The fact that new pre game animations is considered a major upgrade since it’s been the same for like 7+ years

Over 10 mins in and not one legit critique of the gameplay. Plus dude said “Boom Tech” like three times already. EA clearly wanted him to mention it as much as possible. They just take the same technology and slap a new name on it to give the impression of innovation. This dude is likely a plant. He’s not alone. 2K does it all the time. It’s just what these companies do now.

Camera needs to click up just a little bit. Looks a little too low or flat. I wish they would add in custom camera angles to set how you like.

After NCAA 25, this looks CRAZY SLOW. I get the speed differential college to pro, but these dudes look like they running in cement, not that everybody else is fast

Gameplay looks much improved, but why do the sidelines look the same from ps2 days? why don't we have different scoreboards for presentation? Game should be so much more, doesn't look or feel anything like NFL Sundays.

The blitz feature takes away the suspense of not knowing who's going to blitz, but it's good to now know. lol

the scoreboard flag animation for penalties is dope its not the entire scoreboard just the spot where the downs are i havent seen that since ncaa 14

It looks as though EA has done a great job at putting together this year’s Madden game! The game play looks so fun. Now to just wait for the glitches and issues that occur throughout the year. But I am happy that I pre-ordered the game.
