I remember the first time I joined a friend of mine during the world championships in Eskilstuna for gliders several years ago. We took it up for a little trip. The 18m wing span model. Went up to 1400m had some issues finding thermals. Dropping to 350m and almost calling it a day. Then, all of a sudden we hit the best thermals you could find. 3,5hrs later the bladder said it’s time. Best gliding experience. Thank you for sharing Björn!

Björn! So inspiring to see your channel. I have loved aircrafts since i was a child but did not persue a pilot carreer due to the cost of flight training. Iam in a much more stable position now but older. During your carreer as a pilot, did you meet people that became airline pilots later in life?
