Its pretty easy. You just launch your game and then the injector. The basic injection just takes a few clicks. The framerate suffers by maybe 30%? Hard to Tell without measuring.
Mind if I ask what settings and advanced graphics in game you were using? Im running a 2080 super, 9900k @ 1.2x on the quest 80hz and it was crashing sometimes, so just curious - thanks!!!@@alles_Freaks
It'll be an FOV thing - because the FOV is wider with VR (two screens inches away from your eyes will do that), translating it to a flat screen means the FOV looks way wider than it actually is. Wider FOV = more sense of speed. It doesn't look that fast with the headset on.
honestly, how does this compare to the official vr implementation released today? because apparently the official version not only has bad performance, but no matter what settings you choose it is super blurry. i cannot stand the thought of that. i am only buying this game if it looks and performs in vr as good as dirt rally 2.0
The Official VR impelementation reveals the weknesses of their unreal eninges implementation. You can choose between a game that makes castle wolfenstein look high definition, or you disable the upscalers and literally have it run like on a 386 pc from 30 years ago. Lets hope they can at least reach an acceptable level with their VR implementation like ACC did. Else, we just have wait another 2 Hardware generations. 😮💨
@@alles_Freaks I guess I'll have to wait for the next game to be released, hopefully back on an improved version of the ego engine instead of unreal. I am not buying a new GPU for worse graphics than dirt rally 2.0. oh well, dr 1 and 2 and rbr rsf will have to suffice for now.
Sorry für die späte rekation.I habe UEVR mit OpenVR benutz und als VR_Renderingmethod "Synched Sequential". Die Ingame settings können so hoch sein wie das eigene System schafft. Hab alles auf ultra außer mirrors und reflections. Als VR brille kommt die Valve Index zum einsatz. Die "geringe" Auflösung kommt der Performance da etwas entegen. Mit dem aktuellem WRC Patch 1.51. läuft die VR auch noch mal etwas runder.
it might be possible but Forza does not use the unreal engine but an own engine. You might want to look at BlueSkyDefender Depth3D or similar projects to play Forza in VR.
The mod does not Chance any of the game files directly. It hooks into the Running process and alters it. This of course could trigger anti cheat Mechanisms. But i dont think ea wrc has any anticheat implemented.
if you got it from the official reprository it is probablby a false positive by windows defender. but you got the official VR support for WRC as of today, so you should go for that 🙃
I run the game on an amd 7800x3d together with an rx 7900xtx. Runs above 60 minfps on flatscreen in 5200x1440px with a mix of high/ultra settings. Vr probably needs your minfps to be above 90 to feel really smooth. I havent tried to tweak the game for that yet.
@chassy7072 it's not that hard to imagine. Vr is still young, it hasn't exactly become as popular as say mobile gaming. I was honestly surprised this was going to have vr support to begin with lol
@@chassy7072 Codies have been developing this and the yearly F1 games at the same time, as well as finishing up GRID Legends and probably Dirt 5 too during WRC's early development. It's not a surprise that some features were missing at launch. I'd have preferred it released feature complete but publishers have deadlines and I'm glad they nailed the fundamentals of the game in time for the deadline before focusing on other things.
Insgesamt finde ich WRC schon besser als DR2, es braucht aber noch Zeit bis alles rund läuft. Man benötigt auf jeden Fall auch einen stärkeren PC für das neue Spiel. In der VR wird man dass dann ganz deutlich merken.
