I found the first honest barber shop who charged me the regular price for my haircut and head massage even seeing that I was a foreigner. I always got charged double or more being a foreigner but not this time. I really appreciated it so he got rewarded for its honesty.

If we're charged double the base rate we'll pay it, but charge us the standard rate and you might walk away with an extra $20, $30, maybe even $100 for quality service.

its still consider a scam if you visit a country and they charge you more just because you are a tourist. this mean they are not honest and they take advantage of people which mean they don't have a clean and honest heart it has nothing to do with money if you gonna take about money, its still a scam.

@@nateria7082 you are not right in your thinking. Even in a same city prices vary depending on the location. They charge more if you buy anything in a ball park, in air port and many other places . This barber is poor and he gives excellent service - actually what he charged is a pittance when compared with any european country. Europe is considered to be rich compared to INDIA - from where and why they became rich - looting INDIA . So there is nothing harm or bad if a tourist pays a few pennies more . Not really dollars . just few pennies .
