Nice first outing! I remember, Lucinda saying, “Leg first, then hand, ALWAYs,” and Banksy seems to really respond to that. No difference in dressage from jumping. Really, your partnership is so special.

I was thinking about the differences in trainers and their methods, and you are absolutely right that each trainer brings something that we can incorporate into our riding. I thought you were really brave to take on a new challenge after a winter filled with taking care of family needs. Well done Tina and Banksy, he obviously likes his hanging cheek bit and you being more positive and telling him how he needs to go rather than the "what ifs" and maybe I should do that, he is super talented and loves you leading him on the right path rather than him saying should it be like this mum, or I have a better idea, keep your confidence and keep flowing with it xx

Short & sweet! I'm curious whether you think you rode any differently because you weren't being filmed. Do you think you were more or less focused? Or are you used to the pressure from the camera now, so it didn't really change how you were riding?

So on dressage shows and tests. I was always taught the first test is a throwaway, the second is your warmup or your keeper (depending on if you do 2 or 3) and the third is the keeper if you do 3. This only applies if they are at a level where they are allowed to do multiple tests but I think it helps the brain relax She's absolutely right that if you are simulating BE than you might as well enter 1.

Fantastic job well done, a win is a win, I did a show (first one for 20years) where there was only 3 of us in it. I got bucked off and took my boy out as he wouldn’t let me get back on and I still got a 3rd rosette lol but I took the 🏅. Much love to you both ❤💙
