Annie is the perfect one for Presley to go with to her first show!!! Love the leaking that you and momma both had going on, it's just natural and such a beautiful day for you to be able to share together!!!! God Bless all of you!!!!!🎉
Way to go Presley and Annie. Can't wait till next year to see you ride in shows. Was so much fun watching you. Love young rider growing into the best riders.
I started to cry when momma did. As a 4H mom I feel all that emotion. When our kids go in the ring my husband and I get so nervous and tunnel vision. This year our son showed our nubian does against so many kids and won showmanship, champion nubian does, champion nubian milker. So proud of him and all the kiddos that work so hard at showing!
Misty eyed at lunch using my generic napkins to dry my eyes! Great Job Presley!!!!! You guys, that was so sweet. And the corgi walk through - chef’s kiss. 😂
This brings me back to my old childhood showing days with my little horse Midnight, who also happened to be pregnant at the time. Those core memories are some that I cherish to this day and I love whenever you post stuff like this, on top of all your regular content. Congratulations Presley and Annie!!! So well deserved!!!
This was so much fun to watch. Presley looked like she was having fun which is very important. Annie was so calm even when the other horses were right on top of her. Congratulations!
This video warmed my heart but in overload. I love that not only is it a memory your best friend's daughter will have forever. But it's one more beautiful memory you've shared with your best friend.❤
❤🎉😂 Annie the announcer wants you to walk not sleep lol. The other horses didn't know where to go. 😅 Congratulations for second place, cute video. ❤️🐴🥰
This video brought back so many memories. My neighbors and bff's showed in the AQHA circuit and from the time I was 8 I always tagged along and was the mom's helper. I cant tell you how many times I held back the extra hair while the horse was being banded. And STILL to this day one of my FAV smells is the smell of Peppy spray that made them so slick and shiny. I only showed in Open shows at our local equestrian center but I still vividly remember being 10 or 12 and having my mom and Auntie Da sitting in the stands by the rail and whisper shouting "wrong lead" or "your inside rein is too long" or "collect your horse" or the various things that show horses have to do. Still to this day, just like the Peppy spray, the sounds, smells, and tastes are so nostalgic. And also still to this day, going to the facility cafe after finishing showing and all the work that goes into it was one of the best tasting things ever!
Congratulations 🎊. I enjoyed watching this. It was so sweet when she gave Annie a hug. What a special moment captured on video when they made the announcement. Katie, I think there were many of us “leaking”. Hugs
years ago I use to show and train my own Arabian Horses- My main show horse was Ferrari ( miss him so much), show is fun and yes alot of work but it is worth it. Good job Presley Proud of you ! Annie - you deserve a big carrot. :D
I'm so impressed with Preslie or Presley, I'm not sure of the correct spelling. She did amazing, especially for her first show. Also, I LOVE that you aren't showing their faces. You have so many fans of your channel and I'm sure that 99% of them are wonderful. But, there is always that 1% that you have to watch out for. I have so much respect for the choices you've made. And maybe, one day it will be different and you can show her
I had a horse that would do that at shows. The minute he heard the click of the mick he knew what to do. And the lovely hoof black that is exactly like you said so messy and it stains your hands and everything else.
Annie did an incredible job! I can’t believe that was her first show. She looks like a pro. I’m just curious. Does anyone know what kind of bit that is? It looks like a D ring snaffle but I noticed the rein looks to be attached to be attached lower on the ring and there is a curb chain. It’s almost like a jointed kimberwick except it attaches to the cheek piece on the D ring.
Aww katie, Annie really looks after paisley! She done so well, i bet you and becca are super proud of them both, she road annie really well for someone so young and it being her first show, she never let it affect her confidence one bit, I must say when you both started crying I did two, I don't know why! Will she be showing Annie again? Or is this it now with her being so far in foal? I really hope becca decides to buy her, her own horse to show in the future as it would be so nice to watch paisley from for this. I know squirt is going to them. but he's to small for them to back and ride isn't he? so what are the plans for him? Would I be that they showing him in hand as I would also love to see this two.
So proud of Presley and Annie. They both did amazing. Mom and Aunty didn't leak too much. Annie's walk is so slow. Is it supposed to be that slow and were the other two just too fast? I don't know much about horse shows.
Back in the 70s when I used to show horses for 4H one mare I used to ride name Starlight was a chestnut and I used dark brown hoof polish and it looked really good with her coloring. I wonder if they make that?
I don’t know how I feel about horses needing fake tails for shows. That wasn’t a thing when I was showing, in fact when I first started, tails had to be at hock level. I get that a lot of it is a beauty contest any more, but it’s a sad to me.
