I read in Celsius but you can switch to fahrenheit. And yes Shift lights and RPMs match

Swapped it out with a OEM shifter from pre-LCI. And no coding needed its a plug in play .

Do you think it would also be possible to reinstall the heating control element from the pre-lci?

Yes I changed it for that reason to be able to shift gears with the gear selector and in general looks better and can hold onto something. It’s not hard to switch just need to pry off the center console and some bolts and replace with a pre-lci selector. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, won’t I had someone try it and on my car too, D,N,R,P work but manual shifting doesn’t, it bugs out. So i didn’t go for it. I know someone working on coding it someway, but as of right now no. That’s why I hadn’t otherwise I would.
