I have never liked the looks of the Heritage, but this video made me think again. Love my 20 RGS with the 114, can only imagine that little bike with that big engine. My only issue is the Heritage seems best for guys much smaller than me.
I feel the same way. I should have bought a Heritage a long time ago but I had bought a 2017 Street glide. I'm enjoying my 2022 Heritage a lot more then the Street Glide. I'm glide I got a good trade in for it.
Would you consider going from the Road Glide to that bike? I've been thinking about that lately, got a Road Glide myself but I have kids now so taking multi day touring trips is getting harder and harder so I've been considering selling my RGS and getting the Prospect Gold Heritage Classic 114. Thoughts?
Hello @daoudmh1, I would absolutely consider the Heritage Classic 114. It's a lighter motorcycle compared to the RGS. I just hit 1000 miles and still enjoying the ride quality. I've noticed HD dealership in my area are selling the Heritage Classic 114 like hot cakes. I think most riders will consider this model for touring as well.
I bought my '18 in the fall of '17 when they were introduced. Has just over 36k miles now and enjoy getting it out. The new frame was a huge improvement over the older models. It's a fun bike. I've had to replace the oil pump and have upgraded to a stage 2 and put racing bros. suspension on it.
@ridingwithralph3491 yes that's a great upgrade. I had them installed before leaving the dealership. I've also added 12" bars, rear harley tour pack(which I don't recommend. It's cheaply built) defiance collection floorboards and that's about it. You'll have plenty of fun on it.
