As a Porsche 911 owner , I prefer my diesel RCZ over the 911, due its smoothe gearbox and comfort ! The “ Double Bubble “ hardtop gives it such appeal too !
Thanks for your honesty. 10 years ago I bought a 2014 face lifted GT version for my mum. She was thrilled with it, her baby. 17 months ago she passed away and I cannot sell the car. I drive it regularly and although I'm used to a lot more HP I just love it, especially when I can stretch its legs on the country lanes. Even my dogs love it, GSD 🐺 on the back seat, ESS on the front seat 😊 in her booster seat with harness and seat belt 🐶. It has dateless number plate and so many people don't realise it's not new. Catches a lot of attention.
Nice video! You had to rev it up to 4k rpm at the 3rd gear and then shift it up to the 4th just before the red line if you'd like to feel its sportiness. The 6th gear is meant to be only for low fuel consumption. I've been driving it since 2015 and never felt slow unless the speedometer hits 225 km/h. 156thp works like a naturally aspirated engine and generally loves high revs on contrary to being a turbo charged engine.
I bought one few days ago as a run around ,to be fair its much better than i thought, its a little less horsepower than im used to ,can live with that as cheaper to run. They have a great interior, just the steering wheel is a litter larger like you mentioned. Otherwise a very good spec car,was going to buy a 108 as a runabout ,glad i never.
have 2012 THP156 with 62k, 156hp that is the max the auto transmission will handle. Oil changes every 7.5k not 15k as per manual , cooling system pump and thermostat have lives from 20k to 50 k, Engine life about 200k. Diesels up to 450k. Chains stretch from 60k. Keep fuel above half tank to prolong high pressure fuel pump, because it is a direct injection engine if you drive small trips might need decarbonising by 80k. Not Japanese reliability but not bad for a euro (Austria). The PRINCE engine was built for the MINI and BMW X1 & X2, Citroen and other Peugeot models. Parts are cheap and plentiful ( Chinese copies sometimes better than original ) labour hard and expensive.
This is the basic model want to drive the 200bhp GT or Asphelt aditions The 280 bhp type R all need to hit 4000 rpm for Turbo boost.. its a concept Sports Coupe that wasnt made by Peugeot
If you’re being less lame, you should’ve known that is not RCZ R. Normal RCZ is just nice for fine driving but when you go for RCZ R, you’ll know the difference 🌚
Honestly what acceleration do you expect in 5th and 6th gear 🤦🏻 You thought it would drive more sporty 😂😂what in a straight line in 5th and 6th gear. Honestly I really cannot believe some of the trash people put out.
