Perfect Dark is the reason I want this beautiful gun. I want the 3.25 inch Officer model but they are basically non-existent, heck even the one in the vid is not too common. Don't think you could get the 3.25 inch in a 10 mm, but if you could, that would be what I want.

So I am wondering about the DT numbers. I am sitting here looking at my Colt MK II, Double Eagle first edition, double action 10mm pistol, with a DT00001 number engraved above the trigger. Is there any significance to these numbers? Thanks.

If you’re serious then wow do you have something special. The first two letters correspond to various chamberings/models, but as far as I’m aware they all begin with “D” (likely for Double Eagle). The second letter denotes the specific type, A for .45 ACP, T for ten mm auto, F for officer models, etc. then the numbers are sequential production numbers, indicating your DT00001 would be a Double-Eagle, chambered in 10 mm auto, first one produced. Don’t take my word as fact here, just offering my best insights from the research I’ve done.

@@1970HondaCL100 Wow! Really?? Someone told me that but I wasn't sure if I believed it. Maybe I should take it to be appraised then.. when it gets appraised, do they give some kind of proof of the value? I'm not sure if it's worth much to anyone besides a collector. I think it would still be interesting to see what kind of money it would bring if I was to sell it.

howdy,,im in the process of learning about hand guns and there seems to be alot ,,my reason for learning is because i am new to guns and my brother just gave me this but in a 45 cal ,, so clip is 5+1,,does this 10mm have a longer grip to hold 8+1 or are the shells that much thinner were it can accommodate 8,, thanks

I have shot this both before and since making the video. While it's not my favorite to shoot, I do enjoy it. Understand that everything out there, my content included, is completely subjective.
