What can I expect about living in Bogota, Colombia? I asked myself this question before moving here in October 2021. Now, I've been living in Bogota for the past 5 months, and it has become one of my favorite cities in the world.
Just like any other South American country, Colombia has its problems. But in this video, I share my first impressions living in its capital city Bogota. The city is very big, and it has a lot to offer. The friendly people and upbeat music are also a plus for anyone thinking about living here.
Colombian culture can be seen everywhere as well. I plan to visit other parts of the country, especially the pueblos. And after 5 months here, I must admit there is something special about the city of Bogota. No wonder why it attracts so many tourists and expats from all over the globe.

😎 About me: I was born in Brazil, but I have lived in Argentina, China, and Colombia. I've been living in Bogota, Colombia since October 2021. I work fully remote as an English teacher, and I moved to Colombia because I wanted to explore this beautiful country and improve my Spanish. So far, I've been having a great time here and I wish to stay in Colombia for a very long time.

Awesome video, Edu! I had the opportunity of staying a few days in Bogotá and it really surprised me in a good way. I stayed in La Candelaria and it was so beautiful. Had some great meals and I would definitely suggest the Botero museum. Really cool! Hope you keep on enjoying your stay! 🙂

Thanks, Art! Yeah.. La Candelaria is a great area to walk around and explore. I still need to go to the Botero Museum though. I've heard great things about it. =]

Whats the best way to dress up in july and not getting to much attention from robers? How do you watch yourself when traveling alone? Where do you go to for a map and travel tickets?
