Hey, the couple from Sun Kissed Bucket List who are from UK now are in Chengdu, they are a very nice couple, you guys should meet them and explore Chengdu together, that must be fun!!!
China is a fascinating place! They could develop their tourist potential so much more and have done over last 10+ years! Still need to ease up a bit... The thing that is understated is, if you go their and mix with locals, you just find they are the same as anywhere, nice, helpful and have same issue we have. Some tourist scams, but HEH thats in every country! People are nice, worth a visit!
The thing I like about China is that no matter where I am, just when I walk out of the apartment literally I can find a hundred different places to go for choices of food and dishes.
The robots you see in hotels are service robots. For example, if you order food outside, it can deliver it to your room, take the elevator by itself, and ring the doorbell by itself.
Chongqing only has shared bicycles in university towns, because the terrain is relatively flat because the main urban area of Chongqing is built on the mountain, so there will be many slopes on the road, if you ride a shared bicycle, it will be a huge torture for your legs. I am a Chongqing native.
Welcome to china.i am Chinese and I have stayed in chengdu 6 months to enjoy my gap year with my girlfriend .Chengdu is a so beautiful ,romantic and friendly city ,delicious food ,nice people ,comfortable weather. By the way ,if you have much time ,Highly recommend you to visit the west of sichuan province ,it’s amazing places
Love your video ! So much details and so entertaining. I have been to Chengdu tens years ago. It looks nicer and more modern . Love you young couple! You are so handsome and Sofia is so pretty ❤ listen to your talk is so relaxing and enjoyable ❤
Looks like the cleaning bot can understand English but actually replied in Chinese. It said ‘I am working, and sorry about the inconvenience it may cause’😅
I'm from Chongqing, let me explain why there are no bike-sharing services in Chongqing. It's because Chongqing is a city nestled among mountains, with many slopes and stairs. This terrain is not suitable for biking as a transportation option. Therefore, instead of riding bicycles, more people choose to ride electric bikes or simply walk and take other forms of transportation.😂
Beautiful couple😍Love your videos. Thanks for sharing my hometown!!! Hope you don't mind I would like to add one thing, Chongqing doesn't have bicycles because the whole city sits on the mountains, with 244m elevations. It's difficult for people to ride bicycles.
According to GDP ranking, Chengdu ranks sixth in China and second in the west. It is very close to Chongqing and Xi'an. All three cities are famous tourist cities.
Beautiful couple ❤ and a very nice tour video. I'm so surprised by the place you guys went. Not a typical tourist attraction for foreigners in my opinion. Usually only Chinese people like myself would know to go . I grew up in Chengdu. That pancake you ordered is called" dan hong gao(蛋烘糕), which is one of my favourite snacks during childhood. Excellent choice of food 😂😊
These bicycles are highly used, especially when commuting to and from get off work. You can take the subway and then ride your bicycle home. When you come to Beijing, Xi'an and other areas will find out
no not that many kids stay home get paid by parents... it's probably a lot of students not having school that day or domestic tourists.. a lot of people are having days off on a work day as well.
11:21 Chengdu although being a deep inland province is the main aerial industry base of China. It was carefully designed by the founding members of the country so that a typical inland rural province will have an industrial sector to start industrialization and Sichuan is strategically recognized as China's third defence line should a major invasion ever happen again. China's latest stealth fighter jet J-20 is designed and manufactured in Chengdu by company called Chengdu Aircraft Corporation.
Chongqing and Qingdao are probably the only cities without those bikes, or without much of them, because they are super mountainous, if people really ride those everyday then I guess the local gyms are out of business. 😂
Tons of people use shared bikes😂it’s just that they’ve got more than enough bikes everywhere for convenience (the companies get funded by governments) so it looks like nobody’s using it they’re stacked there
this is a food delivery robot. It will find the room number of the order by itself and press the elevator to go downstairs by itself. It will not enter the elevator when there are other tenants lol
I am really enjoying your channel since you brought Sophia on your travels. Enjoyed the video. How about a video on the strangest foods you have found in China. Always a little scary when you can not tell what kind of meat you are eating in China. Fourth dimension would to perceive all time past, present and future at the same time. I love those ear wax guys, I have a lot of problems with to much earwax.
After 2020 the new Chinese law limited the animal species for husbandry very strictly. Breeding strange animals like dogs, mice, bats for eating is no longer legal. There won't be any strange meat in the restaurants.
Rest assured, the vast majority of snacks sold are common meats such as pig, cow, chicken and sheep. Special meats are clearly stated. Most Chinese also do not eat non-staple meat such as dog, today 99% of Chinese do not eat either!
Moreover, the meat sold in the market requires strict breeding quarantine certificates. Although the meat slaughtered without permission is not illegal, it is not allowed to enter the market for sale, so tourists generally eat meat from standard farms.
These robots 🤖 are neat but would be so much better if they comprehend and respond in multiple languages. Should be easy enough to implement. Oh and bigger wheels lol
The weather is a bit unstable in spring in Chengdu. One day can be like summer, 27 degrees and the next back to 18 degrees. People in Chengdu are also used to warmer temperatures so when it's 22 degrees, they still wear jackets and some are wearing long sleeves even when it's hot and sunny because they dislike tanning.
