If you are tired of these scammers get the Indian government to do something about it, these scammers are giving India a very bad name, india is now world famous scammers
It's easy to identify. If they have a gutka face, he is bihari = scammer. Avoid biharis you can avoid scammers. But yes like everywhere else, delhi in infested with biharis
No we're not sorry. Delhi is like any other cosmopolitan of the world. Everr been to NYC?? PEOPLE WONT JUST SCAM YOU THERE, They'll ROB AND SHOOT YOU TOO😂😂. Bottom line, India is not for sissy beginners .. These two were very respectful and cautious. They researched and they were happy for it. Don't be sorry for the stupidities of others!
@@ivyxx0101 that's very harsh opinion, you should spend some time in India. India have a very huge population. and we accept there are some bad people, every country have bad people but calling all Indians scammers that's completely wrong.
One thing in India you have to remember forever that no government employee in India will help you unless you find legit government office and ask them yourself , they will never approach you to help
I love these types of tourist who research before going somewhere so they can avoid scammers rather than other vloggers who keep shouting don't visit India because of scammers.. Every country has positive and negative side.. Just be aware , take precautions -everything will be good...
I'll go mad if I see one more westerner book a room in paharganj. I literally lived 15 minutes away from Paharganj in central Delhi for over a decade and I NEVER went there in all my years. sketchy red light area. Even as a student with zero money there are nicer places to hang out - Khan Market, Haus Khas, North Campus, Delhi Haat, CP. @@twobetweenHave noticed that Koreans are much more sensible travelers in India - truth or overgeneralization?
I liked the fact that u guys r actually spending money, unlike some other vloggers who just visit not so good looking places and eat in very unhygienic places.
Hey guys.. if i could make one golden suggestion, that would be to avoid the golden triangle or any of the cities. If you want to see the real beauty of India, try visiting these places instead: Ladakh (must visit), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, North eastern states like Sikkim and Meghalaya. The highest motorable road in the whole world, Umling La in Ladakh is at a height of 19,024 feet above sea level and you can actually drive up there. Also Radhanagar Beach in Andaman & Nicobar Islands has been ranked as Trip Advisor's best beach in whole of Asia and 7th in the whole world. Trust me you won't forget these places for your entire life if you decide to visit.
Wow, great suggestions! We had quite a few friends also recommend Ladakh, and those other spots sound like great places to check out someday too :) Thank you for the great recommendations!
Can you not see, before they touch our mother land, they already made their mind about india... I have only one suggestion please avoid muslim area... Because if anything bad happen to you guys, you just started crying that india is not good, Indian have no manner, bla bla bla
15:50 - It's not only the nice part of town, but Khan Market is the most expensive area in India to rent space. It's around 100 USD per sq ft/ month. In this case, the restaurants rental is probably around 30K USD/ month.

Welcome To India! The Himalayas are calling! Let’s collaborate, we would love to show you around the majestic Himalayas through our experiential motorcycle and 4x4 expeditions/tours! No curations , only bohemian travel vibes !!
Unfortunate that you didn't actually get the time to see Humayun's tomb, but rather the mausoleum that houses it, which is absolutely gorgeous. Visiting Delhi and eating cakes is akin to visiting Europe and eating mithai - very exotic!
Guys, Indian rice dishes are generally eaten with hands. But still if you have to use spoon than small table spoons are available. The one's you're using was for serving.
love your honesty on what to be careful of in India. your accommodation looks so nice. the food looked so good we're so hungry now lol. Looking forward to more India vlogs :)
She is a stupid foreigner.... Who fear Indian food... Misguided by internet If you want to taste tastiest food in India.... You have to taste street food The money she spent on lunch... Which would be equal to 1 month of Indian steet food
U can see a lot of things in Delhi like temples, markets like(palika bazaar), try different foods which are super amazing in old Delhi(chandni chowk), visit places like select city walk mall, etc.
You guys are great. So informative, culturally sensitive and so different to all the other western bloggers who have click bait titles like ‘I can’t believe this is India’ ‘$1 in India’ just to increase their views.
Glad you had fun in India! I always get very conscious when foreigners visit India as they usually show very negative image of what the real India is, in those Hollywood movies. But I am very happy to know that not only were you safe and sound but you enjoyed your trip!! Btw next time around - try visiting Indore(MP). It’s the cleanest city in the country and you would love their historical artifacts and divine food!
I feel so bad when foreigners get scammed like that😢 just wanna help u guys, if u r gonna shop for anything dont ask them the price just check on the product if its mentioned and pay it. Try to be very carful in ATM places. Also happy tripping 😃 I hope u have a wonderful time here
Old Delhi for cheap good foods and shopping, Rajinder dhaba for some good non vegetarian food within budget. Akshardham, lotus temple, birla mandir, chattarpur temple are a must see.
18:15 - Surprisingly most people don't know is the reason this happens is that a large chunk of domestic tourists there are from small villages and town and have only seen foreigners on TV and in the movies. This is probably the first and only time they will see them in person, hence the curiosity and request for photos, etc. Of-course there are some exceptions always.
Staying in south Delhi, walking around khan market and eating at sodabottleooenerwala!! That’s the kind of itinerary one should plan to see the best of Delhi!!
There is monolithic temple in ajanta elora (state of Maharashtra) Which is almost 1200-1300 years old and it took aprox 7 generation of craftsman to build
Welcome to Delhi guys 🙏 Well you can eat chickoo as a whole without scooping it out, in english it's called sapodilla. Do visit - Akshardham temple, Bangla sahib gurudwara, Jama masjid, Lotus temple, Rashtrapati Bhawan(President's house), National gallery of modern art, Ugrasen ki baoli, Deer park hauz khas, DLF Cyber hub(Gurugram/Gurgaon), Aerocity(Delhi) , Majnu ka tilla
You are in Delhi rn.....but when you change state and city, everything changes here in India culture, tradition, language, food and all. ❤️😊. We have everything from mountains to plains to rivers to oceans to lakes to grasslands to forests to Lake to countryside to city that's why it's called as Indian Subcontinent 🇮🇳🤗.
Don’t give false information. “Indian sub-continent” defines the area and means the countries of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka! It’s a geographical region not a single country.
@@worldwatcher9671 india is like European union with more than 30 major ethinc groups like spain, geramn,Poland italy, ethnic groups of different language and culuture united to form one country,it's called unity of snatan dharm not like christian countries who devided on the basis of language 😅😂
@@ghjjjjjjjhj Don’t mislead people with this crappy argument. India is not as diverse and united as Europe , which has history of diverse people. India was a hotch potch of tribes (over 500) ruled by Rajas. They got somewhat united with big empires such as the Mughals and the British. I understand you point about Santa Dharma!
Scammers are everywhere in every country. When your appearance announces you are foreign to the place. Amazing you guys came prepared by doing your research and were a true sport. Can you share info on your hosts so others can book? That room looked very nice.
24:21 There is a girl selling eco friendly paani puri in New Delhi..In eco friendly paani puri, there is no added articifial flavours, water used is super clean and everything is organic, also tasty and even the cup is eco friendly..
@@twobetween good luck! I live in Southern California but none found here. I lived in Manhattan for over a decade and typically, “unique” tropical fruits are found in chinatown but not a one :(
I don't understand why foreigners choose populated Indian cities like Delhi and Mumbai for the initiation of their travel in India. These cities are overcrowded and sometimes filthy. They should start their travel from Kerala, North East India, Goa and other less crowded, clean and beautiful places.
We heard Goa, Kerala and the Himalayan areas are so nice, we're hoping to visit next time! We didn't start our trip in Delhi or Mumbai, so we're not sure. Maybe all the tours offered? We came to Delhi for a food tour and Holi tour but were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful our area of Delhi was.
@@twobetween Staying in such BnB with good reviews and photos is always better than staying in total touristy area of Paharganj, opposite New Delhi Railway Station. I think you paid reasonable for the room. Area appeared not poorer part of Delhi. That way one can feel more associated with the local atmosphere, but in a better way. Nobody likes to stay in a poorer / shady areas of Western developed nations as well. Stay in better area, and your whole experience will be much better. Khan market rentals are the highest in India, as there are so many consulates of different countries nearby. Khan market was the only place where shops opened to cater those people. Hence, rates are very high there.
Most indian rulers where from foreign countries like Afghanistan, Persia, Uzbekistan some Mongol and Turkey hence most of the monument and history is written about them
Okay so as a indian I advise you to visit places which are not that popular like orcha dham (I have been there several times ,that place is quite full of foreigners too),orcha's palace and fort is great too And you should definitely visit north east india 🤌✨I highly recommend it I have seen multiple foreigners only going to big cities like Kolkata, banglore,Delhi ,Mumbai which seriously isn't quite authentic cuz they don't behold true indian culture since there are just medievel cities Instead Going to ancient of India You can truly feel what india is like 👍 Try on surfing through internet and find some nice local authentic and historical place I am sure you'll love it Btw.........I am happy you were very honest with the reviews
We agree! we prefer digital payment types too (Apple Pay, digital wallet, etc) but they weren’t accepted at most places we visited in India. UPI seems pretty convenient also 😊
Advice to all tourists to India.. find one local of the city through your social networks who will be willing to meet up with you on arrival and spend few hours with you to give you valuable information and advice on the good & bad of his/her city. This is the best way for first time travelers.
Nice Video, Must visit Place in Delhi/NCR is 1.Akshardham Temple in evening 2.Bangla Sahib Gurudwara (best after sunset or late night as its open 24hrs) 3.India Gate (after Sunset) 4.Cyber Hub Gurugram 5.Rastrapati Bhawan 6.Red Fort India has a lot to offer and next time plan a longer trip few days for desserts, few days for beaches few days for Forest Safari few days for Snow fall on hills few days for Leh Ladakh few days for luxury Palaces few days for major Hindu Dhams (Temples)
Idk if this was planned this way, but you guys avoided most of the traps that western tourists often fall for and it ruins their experience. You went mostly to places locals go to, including the market. The places that tourists often stay at and go to shop are places locals are vary of. So good on you
1. Kochi & Kerala tour . 2 Lakshadweep or Andaman islands. 3. Odisha beaches waterfalls and Temples Jaganath 4. Goa & Maharashtra beautiful hiking water sport's . 5. Leh ladakh, Rishikesh Must and uttarakhand. 6. North Eastern India.
Unfortunate that you didn't actually get to see Humayun's tomb, but rather the mausoleum that houses it, which is gorgeous indeed. Visiting Delhi and eating cakes is akin to visiting Europe and eating mithai - very exotic!
I dont know why peopl go to Delhi to travel. I am an idian i never go to Delhi for anything!! Go to Himachal Pradesh(most recommended), South India, Goa, Banglore, Mumbai, etc
I've lived in Bangalore for past 11 years and no way does it have palaces or architecture like Delhi. Its still good but no way close to Delhi or Kolkata in terms of history. Its mostly IT parks and traffic jams here.
honking in delhi (all over the country, I think) is way less then what it used to be, in Delhi many people come from nearby places, and they are not very much used to, drive in big cities, that's why as they honk in smaller cities, they honk in the big cities as well.
it is time to change the name Lodi Gardens to Modi Gardens! LOL. The fruit Chiku is called Sapote in Mexican and it is originally from Mexico. Chiku Milkshake is a wonderful summer drink. It does look like a Kiwi ,a golden Kiwi fruit and it tastes somewhat like that and also like a ripe persimmon as you mentioned.
