I think the reason the lyrical cycler is the most expensive cause Lyrical has the most amount of decks by a considerable amount and like with Varga a good chunk of the Lyrical decks may be running this cycler with the other ride phase cycler. Alternatively the old ride phase cycler is too expensive and this is the alternative for simply for the first skill
I want to say that Ethan only works if your Vanguard hits, so putting him on front row is not ideal if you are playing it with Varga. You can put him on back row so he can safely use the CC. It does remove a booster option, but it's something to keep in mind.
Yeah I actually realised yesterday when I re-read the card that it's not him that has to his but your VG, definitely a bit better now but still a bit uncertain
humorously happy to get a keter ride cycler who CBs instead of SBs for the cycling. it's great for solrairon who has easy access to CC, so I can throw her back to deck and continue my chain afterwards. also the set comes with the nun that gains +15k when called from deck, meaning ezel and solrairon. also excited for the next stream because DZ-02 is including some solrairon support and they cooked really well for DZ 01.
I really like the card quality here because as someone that typically goes for the somewhat solid but overlooked decks there is a lot of generics here that raise the tide for all the ships. Maelstrom and Silhouette in particular seem to really benefit from these generic options from the decks I play often... let alone the massive buff Alden got
From all the decks I’m playing from this set, power levels feels incredibly fun and strong which is a solid baseline to start on for a new era of vanguard Varga Dragres: to absolutely nobodies surprise this deck is crazy strong when u check crits and push your opponent to 4 reliably. You draw a metric shit ton to make up for -2 to front row every turn, and you have 12-15 solid attackers to force opponent to no guard vg so Ethan can proc. The balancing act is def that this deck has to open another Boulder axe or obduracy to not waste Shuura early which hurts your late game. Deck also has the drajeweled syndrome where you can’t really call your stuff early besides Boulder axe so your a sitting duck to early stoichea or Keter rush. Overall, very strong but very fair deck and I’m so excited for the next support wave. Krysrain: ah krysrain, my beloved hitowa drawn boss unit is fated to never be good on the launch set I suppose 😔 but I will admit the deck really is 1 card away from being on par with post banlist wilista power level with how much u draw and push damage quickly to go for the divine skill KO. Looking forward to new support but overall now deck def loses steam very fast. Lascaria: pleasantly surprised by this deck and how smooth it is despite only 3 veleno names, the endgame may be a bit lacking now without cheese strats with nectar of sensationalism, but for now as long as you have morpho, this is the strongest budget deck for the moment that you can build straight out of set. Very happy my beloved Reinhardt artist PeneKoR got a good boss unit, magic is truly everything Triumph Dragon and Marlean: ngl I think the QSDs are actually surprisingly scary, they either plus a ton and have very very solid endgames through their 2 RRs. They’re simple and not as exciting as the fated ones or RRR ride lines but they can do some real nasty stuff if you don’t know what they do, especially triumph which can just freeze most opponents at 4 damage.
Like Kris , I am surprised how this set's RRR nation cycler interests me, they are similar to set 10 G2 cyclers but they complement each other instead of directly replacing them. Here are my assessments on whether to run them in my existing D decks, please offer your opinion if you agree/disagree. 1. Dragon Empire (Dragritter Farhat): Bav is my DE deck and he theoretically would be a nice fit to call Samahdi, and in the future I am planning to run 2 copies of Shenyri+2 copies of Cindy (her skill isn't needed but just in case...) . However even in 50-cards space, there are too many goodies to cram in modern Bav deck, so no space Ughhhh... 2. Dark States (Steam Gunner Tizqar) My Ominaguzio deck would love her so much, that being said, Leimina is still too good to pass in case I SC my important pieces, so 2 Tizqar+ 2 Leimina 3. Brandt Gate (Bullet of Creation Pansmermia): my BE deck is Prison so that card won't be a good fit, but my friend's Avangarda deck would absolutely loves this guy 4. Keter (Divine Sister Biscotti) : Running 2 of her+2 Spiral cuties (I managed to grab her while she was 9 dollars each) in my Minerva. Spiral Cuties' persona skill clashes with Minerva if not sequenced right, but no problem for Biscotti, the only problem? she WILL be expensive as heck though... 5. Stoichea (Sea Rumble Brave Shooter): My Stoicheia deck is Lianorn Vivace, the game usually ends on the first Vivace turn so I probably never have chance to proc his second skill, I ran a seperate Lianorn Masque deck (shares triggers, RD and PG with my Vivace deck) but rans Margaret, I felt that was fine already. 6. Lyrical (Dazzle Bubble Paradise Precia) My LM deck is Fortia (Moonlight Magic ver.) , I managed to grab 2 Valsheblan for her when she was 16 dollars a pop last year, but the deck is so tight I am not sure if I should cut my Roxella to 2-3 to run 1-2 of Precia. On one hand, I ran 2 copies of Yuika (finally got her at 16 dollars each) to cover bouncing, on the other hand, is Precia good enough to replace one copy or two of Roxella? (Also worth noting since Fortia's CB usage is so low that I can afford to use CB for Precia's draw skill) Whoo! wow, can't believe I have typed this much, I am eager to hear your thoughts😉

I like the generic direction Rezael has to start with and leaving it open to dedicated support in future. Like you said it'll be rough for new players since card prices for generics tend to shoot to the moon.
The thing with Krysrain is that it has a weaker splashable cardpool when compared to other Highlander decks like Raindear in premium, Premium has absolutely busted cards and the fact that most of Lyrical's best cards are locked to a name or gimmick/mechanic, it hinders Krysrain alot. But I do believe Krysrain will get proper support that makes her a high tier deck. For now she's a mid-tier deck imo.
This is the best Stoi set ever simply because Magnolia can finally get rid of the stupid Zorga line and not need to run a ton of brick shieldless Orders.
Hey DF can I ask if its a good time to return to vanguard when the divine z starter gets released globally? I used to play vanguard during g era (thavas) during my high school with friends but kinda dropped it when I reached college. I was thinking of either picking the nation where bermuda got absorbed into or the new mecha one.
@@DifferentFight figures, more chance of pulling off a persona should make a turn 4 divine skill way more painful. I'd say 3 Obduracy Glaives should be good to make space for a Roar along with the Cup
Probably rezael, but Varga is built with almost everything from the same set, instead of having to pull from old sets. Also, It is arguably the better of the two once you learn the deck.
played a lot with each deck, really like direfull dolls, rezael and krysrain (even tho she need a bit of help), valeno is also pretty cool but I wish it had more valeno cards to play with. Westra is still westra \_(ツ)_/ and I didnt really enjoy playing varga Def gonna play krysrain when released but lyrical is so expensive ;.;
