Thank you a lot to everyone who follows my adventures and watches my videos 🫶🏻 📌 nomaadglamping.com - Nomaad Glamping Tours. I definitely was impressed with the team, so I recommend traveling with them :)
Dear Eli. It is perfectly OK, to do what you feel, no matter what other people think you should do. For me are videos about Paris or San Francisco boring. And i am happy, that there is someone like you, who is showing us "russian world" from Black see to Kamchatka. Including ex-soviet countries and countries which were part of that "russian world" , like Mongolia. Because of your videos, i am not "average idiot" fed by dumb western TV propaganda about Russia (drunk illiterate gopniks, poverty, dry toilets,...), because you are showing that regions as they really are. 👍💚
Hi ELI FROM RUSSIA, Thanks so much for featuring Nomaad Glamping travel in your Mongolia travel vlog! We're thrilled you had a fantastic experience and were impressed with our services. Your video beautifully captures the spirit of Mongolia, from the bustling capital of Ulaanbaatar to the vast and scenic steppes. It's a truly special experience to immerse yourself in Mongolia's nomadic traditions. Thanks again for featuring Nomaad Glamping travel! We hope your viewers will be inspired to experience the magic of Mongolia for themselves. Sincerely, The Nomaad Glamping travel Team

Eli, if I could, I would nominate you for a UNESCO ambassador. Your videos are so refreshing and alive. They are also one of the best windows to the diversity of this world. And that scene where you are sunbathing through the window of the car, with your fiery hair waving in the wind, that is something else altogether. Stuff the dreams are made of, maybe…
Well Done Eli ! Thanks for taking the Road Less Traveled! You are an inspiration to all of us who wander.Я с нетерпением жду ваших путешествий, ваши видео делают мой день. Спасибо за вашу работу и видение. patrick
This video is a jewel. I agree that visiting areas such as Mongolia etc is much more interesting than Paris, London and other Western cities and sights. Thank you for sharing lovely Mongolia.
I wish the mongolian people had better living conditions. But at the same that they dont lose their traditions. The West is a dumpster fire of insanity rn.
I spent a few months in Mongolia, travelling by motorbike from Germany all the way through Russia/Siberia. It was a wonderful trip and I love Mongolia very much. Thank you for the beautiful pictures!
@paulbuning - Did you make it from Deutschland to Mongolia in one tank.? (some humour) I love Germany, lived there six times, love Russia, never been to Mongolia. mit gruesse, from Glasgow.
You are one of the coolest person seen on the internet and you travel in very cool places. And even places would not be that cool, you made them cool by your presence and inspired videos! Keep going!
Yes. This is the best amazing work you have done. You are wonderful and still give so much hope for your country. Thank you Elie. You are so special 🤩✌️

Believe me I envy you to know and visit so many places full of cultural heritage some day some way I would love to visit))
Eli, thank you for not going down everyone else’s path and seeing there is more to this world than big city life. I too, was surprised by how nice and modern the school was in that area. I think the more you travel, you realize what a small world we live in.
The journey is indeed the goal. And the ways are indeed the home. You are living the best life, comrade Elina Bakunova. I enjoy watching your adventures.. with a little bit of envy.
The Mongolian music group called The Hu are known in the West with their throat singing. Thank you, Eli for traveling and showing us various places and people from Russia. A country that is different from how it is potrayed in the Western media. The name of the tent of the nomads is pronounced as yoort. In Turkish it is written as yurt and one of its meanings is dorm.
In Mongolian language it is called "ger", which means home. The word "yurt" was originally given by Russians for the traditional Mongolian dwelling "ger". PS: I am Mongolian from Mongolia.
I’m so appreciate of your travels to places that my soul wants to go to because it’s just such a delight to see where you travel to and how you explore.
I've been to Mongolia twice and it's my favourite country that I've been to so far. The people are so friendly (except for the men when they're drunk), the geography is stunning and there's a fascinating history. The last time I was there (2019) I spent 3 days in a ger camp in the western part of the country. How is your little brother??
This was a fascinating video, there are not many videos from Mongolia. The red temple was really nice, I liked the school as well. And the nature: Freezing, but beautiful. Thank you for this video, it is very unique.
Please stay 'not cool'.It is people like you who will bring eventual peace on earth by getting us to know each other as people, not as governments or "them." ❤
I love these videos! I’m an American, and it saddens me that this country no longer has anything cultural that’s ours, no common, unifying bond. People here talk about culture, but there is no culture, not really in this country. People are becoming more and more ignorant. They are so self-centered. They don’t know anything that’s going on around them let alone what goes on around the world. They don’t care.
Hello Eli, You have great videos,I enjoy them all.I first knew about Mongolia from my first book " All about Dinosaurs" Roy Chapman Andrews. In the 1920's He led expedition to "The Flaming Cliffs"',Found dinosaur eggs and a Dinosaur called Protoceratops. This was 1956 when I was in second grade.Where in Mongolia are the "Flaming Cliffs"?
Very nice video Mongolia is on my wishlist of places to visit 😍 have you ever been to Altai region? Also very beautiful and culturally very interesting
Thank you so much Eli for sharing your adventures with us. I appreciate every episode ; with ❤ from Canada. Are you able to share the musical artists from this video? Thank you.
I enjoy your video's a lot. They are extremely educational. I learn so much about the russian federation and other places; the ethnic groups, traditions, customs, and not to forget, cuisine!!!
Mongolian life expectancy is young, most of them were born after 90. Mongolia has a few buildings left over from the Soviet Union. but most Mongolians are nomadic people who strive for freedom and new things in the world.
Mongolia is absolutely incredible and fascinating land. On first look monotonous harsh steppe. But when you look on history, culture, nature wonders is absolutely stunning. I recommend strongly already forgotten book about Mongolia from Prof. Ossendowski- "Beast, Men and Gods". I can also recommend modern Mongolian band which is to find on yt- The Hu with their great historic videos.
I really like the way you introduce us to West Asian culture. I was born and have lived for 70 years in Brazil, South America, also with a culture of Original Peoples, very rich and diverse. However, the Invasive Colonialist action of my Ancestors caused a lot of damage and harmful consequences. Any and all actions that aim to show and preserve old cultures, humanist cultures that preserve and respect the Planet, the Home of Humans and other forms of life, as opposed to the consumerist and predatory culture of the East.
love the last couple of sentences in this video. " What if I don't have a goal to arrive anywhere, what if the journey itself is the goal and the way itself is my home?" all the best!
Dear Eli, my name is Angela and I live in Canada and since I found your website I don't miss any of your trips to these wonderful places. I am always pleasantly impressed by your friendly way of describing the history and tradition of each place visited. I have learned so much from you about these places that are so far away from me and almost impossible to ever visit... here I must mention that I am a baby boomer..... Thank you so much for sharing your travel experiences. I wish you to continue to enjoy many years of traveling with the health and good mood that characterizes you. God bless
Hello, this is another very nice video, I love these travel videos from Eli from Russia. I hope one day when I have enough time I can visit Russia and travel to these beautiful places, I'm looking forward to it, until then greetings from Germany

Russian goverment is the greatest all over the world. If you look for atricities look what your goverment did to Vietnam, Iraq, Yugoslavia, Somalia etc etc Ukraine is an instrument for your brutal politics.
Just the first frames are amazing! We also want to visit there and make a documentaries like you! We are based in Helsinki and our last video was about the culture of sauna in FINLAND! You are a inspiration for us 😍
Loved the landscape videography along with the traditional Mongolian throat-singing music! ❤And LOL at the cat who disrupted the entire conversation with the nomadic man! 😃

Greetings from England 🏴, thank you for making and sharing this amazing video, Mongolia looks absolutely beautiful. I think you’re far cooler than you may think, travelling to Mongolia is much better than travelling to European capital cities or visiting America in my humble opinion.
Depends on which capital. I would love to go to Edinburgh. I loved Madrid, we go there any time. They organise amazing bus excursions in the 100 km radius from Madrid, with places like Toledo. Also Prague. Usually it is the second biggest city in each country that is the best, small enough and big enough at the same time. Barcelona, Isfahan in Iran. Mediaeval towns of Germany, like Lybeck. In Italy I do not at all ant to go to Rome, looks too touristy. But I would love to go to Ravenna. The same goes for Russia. St Petersburg is so much more worth the visit than Moscow. Already only for the Hermitage. But St Petersburg and Russia in general is depressing for me, cannot stay in St Petersburg for more than 3 days without the help of psychotropic drugs. Europe is great, but you have to use your brain and your heart and do some research and think about where you want to go. Never rely on the tourist paths and traps. There are not even real, they rip off your money and limit your visit to an amazing Old town by just a few streets. I can se this in my home town of Tallinn. Tourists stay on 3/5 streets, those are packed with tourists who have no idea about what they want. And 70 per cent of the Old town is empty. Which is the way I like it, all for me, peaceful and really mediaeval. Really mediaeval, not for show. Just saying that if anyone ever comes to Tallinn, the Old town has more to it than the Town Hall square and Viru street. Just saying although I probably should not. Less competition for peace and quiet. I think one should travel to one place at a time and concentrate. Do the homework, think things through> what kind of stuff you want to see. If you just wonder around aimlessly, following the herd of other tourists, you just waste your time and money. Ever wondered why cafes and restaurants on main streets never have local clients. Because we are aware of much better places. For example I hate Las Ramblas in Barcelona. It is crazy. There is so much there that you end up experiencing absolutely nothing. But if you walk just 5 minutes from it, keeping in mind that you know where you are going, you will find the real Barcelona. So, my lesson from all my travelling is to do my homework. The less time I have somewhere, the more I have to think things through. But yes, sometimes I just want to walk aimlessly and see where I end up. But do not make the mistake of blindly following the herd of other tourists, others like you who have no idea where it is wort to go. Go where your heart calls you. And usually the streets most empty are the most interesting. Maybe it is just me but I simply cannot stand it when people are all packed on top of each other. I cannot understand why so many people like to eat their dinner on a crazy street, outside, with 8 rows of heavy traffic and all the people right 5 cms from you. Some people enjoy that kind of thing. But I would look for the places where locals like to go If some places have only tourists, it is better to keep away. I also like to read in cafes so I usually look for cafes that would be a good reading environment.
Thank you a lot for another view of such an amazing part of the world: And thanks you take us along on your your own paths. It's all so very interesting.
This is amazing Eli!!! One of my favorites of your adventures! I will share this video with my friend in Buryatia! We were just talking this morning about the similarities between Buryatian and Mongolian culture!
@@GingerBreadMan144 Buryat language, cuisine, clothing, music, wrestling and religion is heavily Mongolic in nature. Historically, Lake Baikal region was the most valuable and contested area since the last ice age. Turkic clans, who co-existed and often inter-married with Mongolic clans to form alliances, also lived near Altai Mountains to Lake Baikal region. Various Turkic clans (like the Xiongnu federation, Gokturks, Uyghurs, or Yenisei Kyrgyz) ruled the Mongolian steppe for thousand of years before the Mongol Empire. The Sakha (aka Yakut) people are Turkic tribes that used to live near Lake Baikal region. According to their folklore, they were pushed out north by Mongolic clans during the Mongol expansion in the 13th century.
Your music, filming and narration is on a whole other level well done!, truly captivated and taken away to another land to explore and understand. I've only seen Mongolia on the maps thanks for bringing it to life.
Really stunning photography with the drone! Excellent vlog, well done and thanks for sharing a virtual taste of Mongolia and helping the rest of the world dream of travelling to exotic destinations! Definitely NOT boring!!! Greetings from Sweden 😊
Superb Eli! The aerial shots were nicely integrated. I traveled there for two weeks by train from Beijing on the way to Moscow in 1992 just after the USSR had collapsed and their economy was in shambles. We had to sneak our relatively fresh food in from China and eat in basements while in the capital but everyone was so resilient and hopeful. I could tell so many great stories form that land. Our driver was drunk all the time and lost but there was nothing to crash into on the steppe so we drove from Ger to Ger (Yurt) asking for directions and became guests automatically. They plied us with fermented horse milk before sending us off again so we were always drunk too!
