I come from the Northeast region of Vietnam and am living in Hanoi. I'm so glad you came to visit my country. My country has many beautiful places and many interesting things waiting for you to explore. Welcome to Vietnam😇
You guys are so lovely. Thanks for visiting my country. When in Hanoi, please take your time to try bún chả, phở, bánh mì chảo (the deconstructed type of banh mi)…Vietnam has so many good foods and people are quite hospitable. They will even treat you better if you can speak some Vietnamese so it’d be useful to learn some basic words like xin chào (hello), cảm ơn (thank you)… Hope you guys have wonderful time here.
@@Mintexplores these are some must-try dishes in my opinion: - Phở: I recommend Phở Mạnh Cường at 23 Hàng Muối street or Phở Sướng at 24B Trung Yên. These are well known for locals - Bún chả: bún chả Hương Liên (the place that Obama visited), their meats are flavorful - Bún riêu cua (crab noodle soup): cô Hoàn at 14 Hàng Lược street. This place is in a small alley and famous for locals and it just sells in the morning - Bánh cuốn (streamed roll rice pancake: Tuệ An 14B Bao Khanh street. We usually eat this as a morning dish, but you can eat it anytime - Xôi: a famous Vietnamese dish to fill your stomach in the morning. You can find it anywhere, there’s always some ladies selling it on the sidewalk, or you can find it at Xôi Yến, 35b Nguyễn Hữu Huân, they have varied types of xoi. “Xoi xeo with pork floss” in my opinion is the best. - Bánh mì chảo: this dish is hard to go wrong, basically the taste at every place I have visited is good. Some places have it: bánh mì cột điện, bánh mì 25. Also if you love phở, you may love Bún Bò Huế, another version of pho which originates from Hue, central Vietnam. Its broth is more flavorful. All these above places locate around the old quarter of Hanoi, so you can walk to these places while enjoying the old town.

Hello Kalle and Patricia the weather in Vietnam and in Baguio city in the Philippines is almost the same but from December to february it drops to 8 degrees.
When communicating with local people or reading signs and Menus in Vietnamese, you can translate Vietnamese using Google with the photo or voice function due to the 4G internet network covering 99% of the territory VN.
Sting energy drink. Just to let you guys know. The reason there’s Sting energy drink in Vietnam. That’s because its origin is from Vietnam. Made in Vietnam in 2002.
Vietnam is one or a 3rd world country in SOUTH EAST ASIA better you visit Thailand or Malaysia very rich and developed compared to Vietnam which is still underdeveloped hanoi is like a suburb area here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Thank you for your comment 🙏🏻 We want to explore the hole world and don’t judge a country by medias view🫶 But we have plans to visit Thailand and Malaysia 🙏🏻
It's true that Hanoi hasn't really developed yet because in fact, looking through this video, we don't see a single beggar, homeless person, or slum on the street..
@@tuananhtranhuu Vietnam is nothing to MALAYSIA in all aspects alot of vietnamese working in KL to earn high salary even their work are janitor or maids🤣 your gdp per capita is just 1/3 of MALAYSIA very poor country🤣 MALAYSIA is one of the most advanced infrastructure and transportation system in the world while vietnam is one of the poor and underdeveloped country in the world along with cambodia, laos, myanmar and timor leste.
South accent is Chinese Vietnamese accent Infact, northern is closed to China but less Chinese than the southern. About 350 years ago, when the 1st time southern is under Viets administration,Hoa ethnic(Chinese) population is the same as the Kinh’s ( the most popular ethnic in Vietnam, 85%) In 1975 Chinese get 15% of the southern population, but now 2.5% and 1.5% for all the country
Hanoi and vietnam as awhile is a poor country very old but still underdeveloped it looks like Dhaka, Bangladesh of SouthEast Asia with alot of old motorbikes😂

Vietnam is one of a poor country in the world the motorbikes capital of the world when i been there for business trip i thought it was bangladesh or india very chaotic they dont care traffic rules and their infrastructure is really poor.
nothings special about this city it still old and outdated the city has poor infrastructure, transportation system and ect. better visit Danang or Natrang.
Danang or Nha trang is a sub urban in comparison to Hanoi. Almost videos are about the Old quarter where be kept unchange as much as possible Ha nội is a political, industrial, historical and financial city compare to Đà nẵng & Nha trang which mostly depend on tourism
