Welcome to Swakopmund, the most beautiful town in Namibia in my opinion. Very clean and well organised and it's just an amazing experience. kindly like, subscribe and share for more awesome content topaa di morning Kish my world
The Namibian coastline experiences extreme fog due to the hot air from the land meeting the cold air from the ocean caused by the cold Benguela Current. The moisture in the air condenses to form fog because the cold air from the Benguela Current does not allow the warm air from the land to rise high enough to form rain clouds. This is why instead of constant rainfall, we experience foggy conditions and hence the desert landscape.
Namibia is indeed a beautiful country. I love the way the towns are so clean, organized and well maintained roads and sidewalks. I hope our City (Nairobi) managers can pick a leaf from there.
I went to the 1. Swakopmund Jetty(really loved catching the sunset from there) 2. The Desert Explorers(quad bike and camel ride) 3. The Swakopmund Aquarium 4. The Museum 5. The Jetty Yard Swakopmund remains to be my most favorite places I have been to
Bad info... the lighthouse is a lighthouse first and ALSO a restaurant. The monument. Also did not bother to investigate what it is for? Easy way to make a video!
Bro, my advise, in a rear moment when you get to be hosted by your subs, it will be good to hype up the moment by giving them a treat. It feels good to appreciate all the support. Just my opinion.
What is this obsession with wanting to equate excellence in Africa as the west with the use of such statements of the "europe" or "America" of Africa? Any such statements are not a "flex" and are sickening especially when they come from fellow Africans as they show the extent to which we are still mentally enslaved to think if it's wonderful and efficient, it should never be ascribed to African excellence. In this day in age, I wonder what it would have to look like in order for you to consider it as "African architecture"?... Mud huts and poverty maybe? Come on man, do better
@@kish_myworld Do better how when your statement denotes excellence in what they have already done? Would it have killed you to just give Namibians props without likening it to Europe? That's the mental slavery you so desperately need emancipation from my brother and I hope you will catch a wake up one day. We won't relent in teaching you and the likes of you who are lost. BTW, I agree with you that Africa must do better, but your thumbnail is making reference to Namibia, not Africa..so please do not deflect.
Namibia is a beautiful country, but the former colony is free hand economically, and the same you can say in kenya! It depends on what we can call good or bad side effects. measurement awareness is needed, I think. Is SWAPO A LIBERATED? Succeeded? Not yet, my opinion. Merci
Hi our bro thanks for sharing your video with us. Why don't you put your tour guide youtube name in your description? Its easier for us to subscribe!.Nice one keep 👌 up the good contents!.H watching from London England UK 🇬🇧. 😊
I got to admit, African countries with sizable Oyinbo populations adds a lot to the prosperity of the country. They are cleaner, more organized and better quality of life.
Very empty indeed😊 think about this: Namibia is bigger (size) than France. Namibia Population close to 2,700,000 France population: 68,000,000 Kish brought the ambience in town😂
The guy said with so much pride that he does not go inside the museums of the countries he visits. Backwards to a fault. No wonder the coldness to the other youtubers that help him out while visiting their countries.
I like the trees too. They are beautiful. Wondering if the monument with a cross is a cenotaph? I loved the back-&-forth between you and the Herero women. Sunset was glorious.
This Namibian girl Tookaleh, is dissapointing, Swakopmund and Walvisbay are the only places that has an ocean ? What aboutHentiesbay, Mowe bay, Torra bay and Elizabetb bay and even Oranjemund. She is forever uninformed, does not know what the cross stand for ? 🙄🙄doesn't know about Herero dress ? yet she wants to be a tour guide to every male foreign you tuber.
@ingridhoneycutt426 After watching this whole video my disappointment was by that lady, honestly you live in Swakop and you don't read road signs that pint to Henties Bay, the Herero Dress, the Cross blew me away honestly you don't know.
I don't know if it's true bt I read somewhere that Namibia has 2.5 million people in the whole country that is like a population of one of our tribes in luhya , luo or Kikuyu...🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪 Love the small population n men are almost half of the women population, so you have to marry two women for every one man.
It think Germany fertilised Namibians men in the past 😢Namibia government has to check if there is something wrong in their Men bcz this is so sad 😭 only 2.5M the hole country 😢
24:12 The herero hat called Otjikaiva The Herero people take pride in their cattle, hence the culture of Herero requires women to wear their iconic fabric hats shaped like cow horns. They believe that the more cattle one has, the richer one is, making cattle a symbol of wealth. And the herero dress Called ohorokova, these voluminous dresses are steeped in both trauma and triumph for the Herero, who, after a genocide that killed more than 80,000 of their people, adapted the dress and made it their own.
@@pushingp6945 you can't determine where dust goes sir/madam. Dust can be blown anywhere. The "Sahara dust" even reach North America. We have seen it several times throughout the years.
@@eddietee6305 there’s no such thing as “Sahara Dust” in Namibia & Southern Africa in general what don’t you understand ,,,,,, this is not America or some Egyptian country, this Namibia with its namib desert, not some Sahara desert…… with don’t have such a thing called Sahara desert, go do your research properly
That's southern Africa, Sahara desert is in the northern part of Africa your understanding is wrong, a little knowledge in geography will do you justice.
Next time you are with someone can you please try to not focus the camera on them but rather the place , coz we don’t want to be looking at the person the whole time, we want to see the places
Majority are black Namibians.white Namibians make up about 10% of the entire population ..so in swakop they are probably about 3%of the population there.Swakop only has about 80 000 residents .

The majority in Swakopmund are blacks and the majority whites are Germans, Namibia was colonised by Germany and some Germans didnt gp back so they are Namibians but they are minority in the whole Namibia
NOPE! Way too many of "them" for my liking and not enough greenery in the residential areas. When I visit the Continent, the less of "them" I see, the better. I see more than eough of "them" here in the US. That sunset on the beach was beautiful though. Many thanks to you and your wonderful hosts for showing us around.😊
The city is in the desert , majority of the green you want there can’t grow in swakopmund coz of the fog that carry salt water molecules, it will destroy the plants Also stop being racist , i bet they wouldn’t even care about you even if you were in swakopmund……. The best thing you can do is go to west , central or east Africa where there’s no white people But the best region is in the south , Namibia & South Africa
