I really enjoy watching your movies when I am in the hospital. They always seem to brighten my day as well as your daily vlogs. They give me inspiration so when I am discharged from the hospital I go home and play with different looks and styles with my clothes and jewelry. I also appreciate your upbeat attitude regardless of the haters. It takes a strong person to make videos for the "world" to see and I think people forget that. It leaves you open and vulnerable but you always do it with a smile. Oh and I like that you are smiling more as you can tell you are becoming more comfortable with your invisilines. Keep up the awesome job!!
Had every intention of getting the tartelette palette but I got this instead. Can't wait to try it out! I love that it comes with guides for each section, too.

I usually like shimmer/sparkle too, so I was debating on this palette. It was in and out of my cart several times before the Sephora sale. I went in store, swatched it, and fell in love. It is GORGEOUS, and I agree that it is a must have. Great review, Sam. I completely agree with your thoughts!

You look so pretty! I love this look and I absolutely love the palette too! I adore shimmers and for a lot of years I would have never done an all matte look but then I turned 30 lol and right then Kat's Ladybird Palette came out and I was iffy about it at first but then fell in love with it. I still love my shimmers and reach for them much more than going ALL matte, but now I appreciate a really beautiful, understated, not so in-your-face matte look. Obviously matte looks can be very bold too but I seem to find myself doing really soft all matte looks when I go to my kids school for a parent teacher meeting or when I go somewhere where I need a more toned down look. I approach my makeup almost identically to Kat so my makeup is usually bold and bright or very dark etc. That's what I love about makeup,sooooo many possibilities :) ok enough rambling, just wanted to let you know that I love your videos, I really love that your a mom too around my age because let's face it most RU-vid beauty "gurus" are like 21 lol Also, I'm going to recreate this look today! I know since it looks pretty on you I know without a doubt it will look great on me. You and I have very similar complexions, big blue eyes and same eye shape too. thanks for the inspiration!
New sub here as I was looking for some swatches of this palette. I ordered mine a few days ago and am excited now seeing how lovely and pigmented the shadows are. Great review and now I need to catch up and watch your past videos!
Thanks a lot Sam, I didn't think I wanted this palette and now I do! I didn't get the contour palette bc I didn't feel like I needed that many colors since I am fair and most would be too dark for me but this, this looks gorgeous! I like that you brought up the "thickness" of some mattes because it's so true and it's not a texture many people talk about. Saying how soft and light they felt sold it for me, good thing Sephora has $15 off right now, haha! Love ya!
I'd LOVE to see you review more drugstore eyeshadow palettes. Like for example, the new ones by Maybelline, especially the colourful one-I'm very curious about that one. And btw, you are gorgeous and your lips look great in this video!

I totally made my husband get me that mascara the other day when he was at Walgreens because I needed it asap, haha! I was on a strict mascara "no-buy" too but I couldn't resist and you're right it is amazing, especially for the bottom lashes. I have thicker short lashes so I always want a mascara that lengthens over thickens and I have slightly hooded eyes so gigantic brushes (eh-em Better Than Sex) just make a mess, plus it doesn't make your lashes stiff (eh-em They're Real, which I can't stand) I have been using it with the Lancome lash primer and it's a total dream!! I am totes glad you made me buy it, if you hear from my husband sorry in advance, lol.
Please do a video on your nails or just let me know what the colors are they are beautiful , I'm loving the look with your skin color. Great review on this palette I will be getting it for sure now, what do you think about the brush that goes with it?

What's the difference between the Loreal telescopic in the black tube vs the gold one? I was at the grocery store the other day and they only had the gold tube and I was afraid to buy that one bc I remembered you said you used the black one. I really need that mascara though. It's beautiful!
