Which I still play because I can build my stadiums, I can deal with the infrastructure of the club, create my own club without having to download pre made kits and badges. The only thing I don't like about is the commentary where they keep mentioning up teams and names of players, who are not even playing for me. _"The Manchester United manager always likes to use his wide men!"_ Who cares? I've just started with my own side that's 200 miles from Manchester! But once you're past all the intro stuff, which, to be honest, doesn't take that long, then you start playing it. The training you can tell someone to do that. And that'll save you time. You can get someone to hire other staff and a building manager to actually deal with the infrastructure. _If you so wished!_ OK! The graphics are not great for matches, but it's way better than I'm used to with FIFA Manager. And you only get to see the highlights so it shortens the actual match time massively. I've never played any FM game because I've watched friends play it and after an hour of watching, they've still not even kicked a football. I can speak to them a week later and ask how they're doing, and they'll say; _"I've just won my second game."_ _"Oh! That's not good"_ I'll reply _"I know. I've just played my eighth game and lost five of them!"_ Seems that playing FM _(Whatever!)_ takes for ages to go through a season. I'd like to do that in just a week!
Considering you said time and time again your not a football fan and know very little about football. Then your negative means very little because you ain't got a clue about football management
I think to appreciate the game and all them little ui options and choices you can make you would have had to play on the ball in the late 90s and 2000s and fifa manager 2007 to 2024 thewe are the same developer's from them football manager is worse page and spread sheet after spread sheet. 3 evening's and then you play a game complete a season in 7 months. Championship manager was the best back in the day
Once running you can play a season in an evening and not think you’ve missed something important. In FM23 I played maybe 50 hours and barely got to February in my first season before I gave up. Playing FM properly is something you have to “no life” how,people,get through 10 or 12 seasons is beyond me. That would take me close on a thousand hours. Life’s just too short for FM
I'm glad u like the game, but I'm does have a lot of customization so you could easily reduce what u have to do, objectively fk is the better game, this isn't bad...it just for me missed the mark
I've watched friends play the FM games, and they are really, really tedious. Watched one for over an hour and during that period, he never kicked a ball. Far too many spreadsheets for a game. But I've played FIFA Manager 14 for years and WAF2024 is the nearest game to that, that I've seen.
yea thats the kicker for me, when your competitng with a game as established as FM, charging as much as FM you gotta be as good if not better, and this just simply...isnt
Hey, thanks for replying dude. I agree. I am in Australia and it costs $58 on steam here. I will buy if it goes on sale for around the $10 mark. I think it is made by a German team, which accounts for all the excess menu's and useless detail. I also heard rumor that it was going to be a mobile FTP game and the action points is a left over feature from that (you'd have to pay real money to get more points). @@AzraelsGaming
Definitely seems like you can change a lot of the tactics etc and the little cutscenes of the football when something happens are pretty good. But it does feel like something is missing.
